It all started in April 2005, when Apex founders Lonnie Purvis and Marya Woods set out to provide high quality automation systems integration services to manufacturers and processors in the Boise, Idaho area. Initially, Apex's first "offices" were their homes and coffee shops. They didn't plan on hiring their first employee for at least three years but Apex's work was in such high demand that hiring plan only lasted three months..... Apex is a systems integrator, providing comprehensive, end-to-end manufacturing solutions that include automation systems design & integration, Manufacturing Execution Systems, continuous improvement consulting & implementation, project management, and support & maintenance services.
