Anne Pardy

Anne Pardy was admitted as a solicitor in July 2006 after completing her degrees in Economics/Law at the University of New England. Anne became a Partner with APJ Law in December, 2012

Bruin Hutchings

Bruin joined APJ Law in late 2016 after completing his postgraduate studies and professional development with the firm. Bruin completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New England and Postgraduate Studies at the College of Law. During his undergraduate degree Bruin studied in several jurisdictions including Pennsylvania, USA and in Shanghai, China. Keenly mentored by the Senior Partners of the firm, Bruin's main areas of practice are commercial litigation, building and construction, commercial and corporate and employment law. Bruin has also received outcomes for clients regarding payroll tax, Environment Protection Authority notices, criminal offences and has experience in the Local Court, District Court, Land and Environment Court and the Supreme Court of NSW. Emalie Hurcum

Emalie first came to Armidale in 2002, studying a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws at the University of New England, graduating in 2008. In 2012, Emalie obtained her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. Emalie completed the practical component of this degree with APJ Law and later joined the firm in 2013. Emalie was named as an Associate of APJ Law in early 2018 recognising her hard work and success. Emalie's practice is predominately focused on litigation, including family and criminal law servicing both our Armidale and Glen Innes offices and has been appointed to the Legal Aid Panels for care and protection, family and criminal law. Emalie has significant experience in the Local, District, Federal Circuit and Family Law Courts. As a nationally accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney-General's Department, Emalie is able to provide FDR services throughout the New England and North West Region. Emalie is a also an accredited Mediator in accordance with the National Mediation Accreditation Standards (NMAS) and a member of the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators (AIFLAM). Georgia Mathews

Georgia Mathews joined APJ Law in 2019 and was admitted as a solicitor in May 2022 after graduating from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2017 and subsequently completing a diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in the same year. During her undergraduate degree Georgia also studied Human Rights and International Law at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. As proud local of Glen Innes, Georgia's connection to her community and passion for making a difference are reflected in her work as a solicitor, where she provides compassionate and personalised service to her clients. Georgia predominately practices in property and commercial law and Wills and Estates. She also has a keen interest in advocacy and criminal law. When she isn't practicing law, Georgia enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring nature. Her adventurous spirit and passion for learning are evident in her approach to her work. Glen Ping Kee

Glen joined APJ Law in March 2006 and was admitted as a solicitor in July 2006 after graduating with Honours in Law in 2004 and Honours in Business in 2005. Initially engaged to undertake transactional matters, Glen quickly took responsibility for litigation across the footprint of APJ Law. With a passion for education, Glen commenced his Masters of Laws at the University of New England in 2008 which he completed in 2010. With a practice almost entirely comprised of litigation work Glen formed an interest in human motivation and cognition; commencing studies in Psychology in 2012 which he completed in 2016. Despite a wide range of expertise in most forms of litigation, including Commercial, Civil, Criminal and Family Law, Glen has a predominate interest in Estates work and is currently undertaking a further Masters of Applied Law specialising in Wills and Estates. Typically involved in complex matters Glen often works closely with other member of the APJ Law team to lend his expertise. Jennifer Lane

Jennifer has been a long standing employee of APJ Law. Jennifer has overseen many changes both in Technology and Staff both Professional and Support over the years. Many members of staff both Professional and Support have been with the firm for many years and therefore can provide a huge wealth of knowledge both for our clients and other members of staff. The Firm has grown from its roots in Glen Innes to a firm that services the New England and beyond. Jennifer views her role as a privilege to work with a very professional of team of people who all have the common aim of providing the best outcomes for the client.

Kimberly Blacker

Kim was born in Coffs Harbour and moved to Armidale with her husband in late 2011. Shortly after arriving in Armidale, Kim started with APJ Law as Anne's secretary and continues to work with Anne until today. Kim has been achieving outcomes for clients in conveyancing since she left school and has worked in various firms in Coffs Harbour doing conveyancing.

Mac Jenkins

Mac was admitted as a solicitor in 1977 having obtained his undergraduate degrees at the University of Sydney. Mac was at the helm of APJ with Peter Pardy for 42 years, after stepping down from the Partnership, Mac is engaged as a valuable Consultant to the firm. Molly Garth

Molly was born and raised in Emmaville and has been working with APJ Law since 2020. During her time at APJ Law, Molly has assisted several partners in the Glen Innes Office and currently assists Sara Clark in her practice. Molly started her Diploma in Paralegal Studies through the University of New England in 2022 and when she is not studying, Molly enjoys spending time with her family including her two nieces and friends and her little dog Luna.

Peter Pardy

Currently the senior partner of APJ Law, Peter Pardy was admitted as a solicitor in 1977 having obtained his undergraduate degrees at the University of New South Wales. Renee Roberts

Renee was born and raised in Armidale where she is also raising her young family. Renee was first employed as a legal secretary in 1995 and has been with APJ Law since July 2005. During her time at APJ Law Renee, has assisted several partners including Peter Pardy. Renee now forms part of the conveyancing team and assists Anne Pardy in her practice. Renee enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, being amongst, nature, travelling and reading, particularly adventure novels and is known for her high energy in the office .

Sandra Gully

Sandra believes the simplest solution is often the best - but not always. With listening and collaboration, clear goals can improve outcomes. She finds satisfaction in applying her skills to varied areas, including conveyancing, commercial agreements and collaborative mediation. As a former paralegal with APJ, Sandra completed legal qualifications with both the University of New England and Australia National University. She also completed a New England Award, recognising voluntary contribution to community, including road safety and supporting a School community. As a Glen Innes local, Sandra is very pleased to be part of the APJ family. Sandra likes understanding ‘how things work', tinkering with pen/ink illustration, altering her photography with digital ‘apps', and writing children's literature. "One Day" includes a return to horses, pottery and a few niggling ideas requiring either new skills (‘app' coding) or stamina (to pen a long novel, with a precis' already written).
