The Automotive Parts Industry Association (APIA) is a non profit organisation informally formed in 1991 and formally incorporated in 1993. It currently represents and services approximately 130 Automotive Parts Recyclers and Aftermarket Parts suppliers throughout New Zealand... APIA is the only national association serving the Automotive Parts Salvage and Recycling industry in New Zealand... APIA provides educational, regulatory and industry information; as well as other services, to its membership in an effort to facilitate continued education, growth and evolution of the Auto Parts Recycling industry. Its members strongly believe that recycling is a responsible industry with environmental and economic benefit to New Zealand.
