APPLIANCE SPECIALISTS - Key Persons
Originally from Claremont, New Hampshire my family and I moved to Florida when I was 8 years old. I attended Garden Elementary School followed by Venice Area Middle School. At 14 years old I started my first job as a bagger with Publix Supermarkets (on Venice Ave). I kept my job at Publix for 2 years, during this time I entered Venice High School. At 16, I left Publix to work at Aston Gardens Retirement Community as a dishwasher, but after a year I left to work a summer job at a corporate Air Conditioning company installing duct work in new construction buildings. During this time I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. Once school started again in the fall, I had to leave that job to start my senior year at Venice High. I took a job at Pizza Hut, Inc making pizzas at the beginning of my senior year. Half way through my final year in high school, I started a second job during the day through on the job training where I left school at 10:15 and met up with my dad - I rode with him training on the repair of appliances and working for the same company he worked for. Once I graduated from Venice High School, I started working for them full time. After working for 4 years at a large Appliance and Air Conditioning company, I decided to start my own business. My wife and I built Appliance Specialists, LLC - we opened our doors in March 2010. I have been building our reputation with customers and businesses in Venice, Sarasota and surrounding counties. Our customers appreciate our fair prices, fast and friendly service.
