Tom Sparks has been in the network operations business for over 15 years, and was the CTO of UnitedLayer before founding Applied Ops. Tom has worked for Microsoft, Homestore, Softbank and many others. Tom is "the router guy" with a compulsion for uptime and reliability. He has extensive experience in cost-efficient datacenter and network design, and has built several large datacenters.
