• President, CEO, and Chief Appraiser

Aaron was born and raised in Greenwood, IN. Aaron proudly served our country for 11 years in the U.S. Army which he completed a tour of duty in Iraq. After honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1999, Aaron began his career in real estate, obtaining his Real Estate Appraisal certification. He opened and managed the Indiana Appraisal Group. Recognizing the importance of Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) in the residential real estate appraisal space using his business acumen and experience in the industry, Aaron founded AppraiserVendor in 2009. Since founding AppraiserVendor, Aaron has continued to serve as president, CEO, and Chief Appraiser, employing an experienced group of industry professionals, providing unparalleled service to the real estate valuation community from Originations to Servicing/default and Capital Markets nationwide. The same commitment, dedication and leadership Aaron has shown to his country carries on in his approach to AppraiserVendor. Aaron and his executive team have been actively involved in advocating for real estate appraisers and AMCs. AppraiserVendor is actively involved in promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion through the valuation industry.

Doug is a graduate of the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and worked in the finance and banking industry as an underwriter from 1990 to 2004. In 2004 Doug became a licensed appraiser and worked as an appraiser for national and local lenders until 2011 when he joined AppraiserVendor. He now serves as Director of Appraisal Operations with oversight of appraisers and QC operations for AppraiserVendor.

Janice Jones is our Client Services Director. Janice started her career in the mortgage industry in 1992, joining AppraiserVendor in 2019. Prior to joining AppraiserVendor Janice held positions in Underwriting, Risk Management/Credit Policy, and Operations Manager at various Fortune 500 institutions. Janice's career experience includes Retail, Wholesale, and Correspondent Lending. Janice has a passion for client advocacy, customer service and a sense of urgency that enhances the overall positive experience of clients.

Ruth joined AppraiserVendor in 2016 to provide accounting and tax oversight and was recently appointed Chief Financial Officer. She has spent 25+ years in various finance and tax roles for global service, distribution and manufacturing companies including serving as an executive finance leader for a Fortune 500 company where she was instrumental in the planning for its expansion throughout the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. Ruth is an accomplished financial executive with a solid business acumen and recognizes the importance of excellent internal and external customer service. She is a graduate of the University of Findlay where she earned an MBA and a Masters in Accounting and Finance. She has served as a leader and member of a number of accounting and tax professional committees and roundtables addressing various accounting and tax issues facing today's businesses around the world.

Sherrie Harris has been with AppraiserVendor since 2017 starting as a QC Analyst and now serving as the Compliance Manager. As compliance manager, Sherrie oversees audit, licensing requirements, training, policies and procedures, project management, and wears many other hats. Before joining the company, Sherrie worked in consumer lending for more than 20 years in many capacities such as underwriting, systems analyst, training and development, front end operations management, and regional operations manager.

Sherry Ross is our Director of Quality Control. Sherry brings more than 15 years of mortgage industry and quality control valuation management to the team. She is a licensed appraiser professional with a team-building mentality, creating a framework for success. Sherry takes great pride in providing the absolute best in customer service, supporting our referral partners, clients, and vendors. She is dedicated to achieving results by maintaining a reputation built on character, service, and uncompromising ethics.
