All of our clients have been wronged, in some way, by their employer, and many have even lost their jobs. Being able to help people in their time of need is why I became a lawyer and having a satisfied client at the end of my representation is the most important thing to me. It is that positive result that makes all of the hard work worth it," Mr. Kirschenbaum said. He continued, "especially in the #metoo era, it is vital for every employee, woman or man, who has been subjected to unwanted sexual advances, to come forward and have their voices heard. For too long people in power have used their influence to stifle and take advantage of others." Mr. Kirschenbaum is committed to using all legal avenues to advance the rights of his clients. Mr. Kirschenbaum has also contributed to Lawyer Monthly, writing about employees' rights when dealing with a disability in the workplace. Although retaliation is illegal under various federal, state, and city laws, it does occur. Workers should always consult with an attorney if they feel they are being harassed, discriminated against, or retaliated by their employer.
