Despite the horrible weather and loads of delays from KCPL Arbor Masters had our tree down very fast and did a great job. We would recommend them to anyone who has a huge tree in a tight spot like we did.
We had 7 trees that were badly in need of care. Within 24 hours of requesting an estimate, someone was out to examine our trees and give a detailed estimate of the work that needed to be done. After we decided to use Arbor Masters, a crew was at our house within 2 days and the work was completed as described in the estimate. Our trees look great and we paid a reasonable price. I'm extremely satisfied with our experience with Arbor Masters and I would recommend them to anyone.
Arbor Masters did a wonderful job trimming our trees and bushes. They were meticulous about cleaning up the yard when they finished. We give them our whole hearted approval.
We had a river birch break in 2 places this Spring. We were able to trim the first one ourselves, but needed professional help with the second. Arbor Masters came out, left me a bid, and completed the job that same week…and they trimmed 2 more trees for a small additional fee, which is only to be expected. Our trees look great! They even trimmed the remaining trunk of the tree that broke first. All debris was hauled away and the yard was cleaner than when they got there….a definite plus!
I would put 4.5 stars if there was an option. The crew that took down my trees was absolutely fantastic!I had some issues with the admin department. After accepting the proposal online, I sent an email asking about scheduling. No answer. I had baby grass that I was growing near the trees, and I wanted the crew to come later in the spring or early summer.The next week, the crew shows up at 8am and starts working. I received an email at 7:25am that morning telling me my job was that day. Thanks for the 35 minute warning?After much silence, and then some back and forth, the admin department gave me an 8% discount for the error. There was never an authentic apology or admission of error, just compliance with my request. I still don't have a good feeling about it.
We have used Arbor Masters for years for tree trimming and tree removal and have never been disappointed. Lisa knows her stuff and takes very good care of her customers. I can call her with concerns and she gets right back to me. The crews are professional and work hard to make sure grass and surrounding landscaping is protected. You might be able to get the job done cheaper somewhere else but you can trust Arbor Masters to make sure it is done well. I had a tree removed recently and aside from the obvious, I couldn't even tell they had been there.

Arbor Masters had been recommended by friends. Their representative was on time and very friendly at the inspection and with the quote. She also responded to my questions and concerns. The tree was removed on the scheduled day, the yard was left in good order. I had an unusual request in that the crew leave the stump about 3 feet talk and level so that I could use it for bird feeders. It's perfect.
We have used Arbor Masters in the past and then again just recently and as always they do a fantastic job. The crew is very talented , friendly, and hard workers.
I was extremely pleased with Dan. He took the time to listen to what I liked, colors, and the fact that I wanted low maintenance. Once the weather cooperated, the workers showed up, got serious, and completed the whole project in one day, not leaving until 6:00 pm. Rigo checked the placement of the plants and shrubs with me before planting them and made sure they were as I wanted them.Dan was always great getting back to me on email, had excellent suggestions, and came by to make sure the project was completed properly.I would highly recommend Arbor Masters.

We had 12 large pine trees that needed to be removed and Arbor Masters was recommended to us. All the employees that I dealt with were professional and friendly. The communication from the sales rep, Mark, was fantastic and the tree guys did a superior job. The work site was spotless when the job was done. A few days later the trees were stumped to our satisfaction as well. The entire job was completed in less than a week from my initial call. The price for the job was extremely reasonable as well. We had our old landscaping (shrubs and rock) removed. They filled in with dirt to rebuild to proper level with foundation. Planted roses, several different kinds of shrubbery/grass, etc. plus all new rock. Beautiful work and the result is very pleasing. Also installed water system. Took care of removing all old stuff. These guys worked very hard and they knew what they were doing from the planning, removal, and installation they are really pros. Thanks for the great job which we are proud of….clark

We had a mulberry tree in our front yard that had split and put a telephone line in danger. Arbor Masters gave us two estimates, one for hazard pruning and one for removal. We went with the tree removal and stump grinding. They completed both tasks within a week of us accepting the offer, and they even left us the wood to use in our smoker. Overall, it was a very good experience and cheaper than the two other estimates we received.
The entire experience was professional. The sales representative was knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. The job was done the same day that I faxed it in by two equally professional, efficient employees. I am more than pleased with the outcome.

Brian Rex and his crew were very professional. Brian gave me a good quote and the work was done as promised. We had a total of 6 trees removed, stumps grinded, and others trimmed. Once the crew was on site I realized I wanted more work done and Brian was able to take care of that the same day. Very happy with the whole experience.

We used arbor masters to build two separate patios. One of the patios included a very unique design with a tree in the center and they were both out of modern unique pavers. Dan was really amazing to work with. He was creative, excited, and the prices were very reasonable. Great experience!
Quite impressed with the level of detail provided with the estimate of service. They walked my property and explained all the items and recognized a few preventative sprays were not really needed since the original estimate. The technician who came to prune roots on 5 trees explained the process and did an outstanding job. Very impressed with the service, professionalism and attention to detail.
Dan was very helpful as both a landscape architect and a marriage counselor. He even went to the trouble of meeting us to pick and mark the exact trees we wanted. His two man crew of Rigo and Fabian that did the planting were conscientious, neat and exacting. My wife and I are very pleased and will continue to be married!
I have been a customer of Arbor Masters Tree Service for over 10 years. They are always professional, on time and the results are great. They just removed an old tree that was located in a difficult position due to the fence, the deck and other nearby trees. The tree was removed with no damage to the surrounding area, and all debris was cleaned up.
My entire experience with Arbor Masters was outstanding. They did a fantastic job, were here on time and cleaned everything up so that you couldn't even tell that tree trimming had been done in the yard. The trees look great.
A quality bargain! We needed a large old maple cut down and got several bids. Arbor Masters was by far the best price so we went with them. They were professional, did the job quickly and safely (there were lines nearby) and cleaned up very well. I would recommend them and would use them again!

We are very pleased with the trimming of our trees, especially our cotton wood tree which is over 150 years old. Huge branches were over hanging our house and dead tree limbs . Without any damage to our house they safely trimmed away big branches.We also have a walnut which has grown very large and produces a lot a walnuts. They cut away the dead and branches that were drooping.They raked what was cut and our yard is clean. We would recommend them. Great job guys and Brian.
I have a 70 ft tree in my front yard. It was dying due to sustaining multiple lightning strikes over several years and then undergoing severe heat and draught the previous summer. Last fall Arbor Masters recommended two treatments, which they performed last fall and this spring. Along its length the tree had three huge lighting strike fissures that had been "open" (several inches wide) for about six years; they are all closed now and you can barely tell anything happened.I also have an evergreen that was almost completely brown. Arbor Masters diagnosed the problem and applied a series of treatments. That tree is now healthy and beautiful.

They did a great job. The only thing I thought was a little unprofessional is that the guys left without telling me they were done and I had to chase them down to get an invoice signed from them. I called and the lady was very nice about it and said she would make sure that it wouldn't happen again to future clients. Overall, though, they did a very thorough job and cleaned up everything well when they were finished. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Called about trimming/pruning two trees and removing a bush. Was told they'd be out within 7-10 days and they met that mark coming out about a week later. The two guys who came out did a great job with everything and were really professional.

I interviewed several landscape companies and Dan Hanson with Arbor Masters was the best by far. Cost was good, but creativity was even better. Dan was patient despite are many questions and design changes. The final design that was great. The installation team was very good to work with.

Our Home Owner Association used Arbor Masters to trim seven "pear" trees. Chuck in Tulsa, Ok gave us a bid. The work done was very professional. This job required the company to have a lift to get high in the tree so the tops could be trimmed. We are very pleased with their job. They did an outstanding job of getting rid of the branches and the area was clean when they were done. I would recommend them.

Had 5 yds of mulch installed around trees and beds. The 2 guys that spread the mulch were very professional, friendly, and accommodating to my requests. They cleaned up everything very well and I was very satisfied with their work.

Though removing a tree (especially a half-dead, 100-year-old walnut tree!) is not inexpensive, we were generally pleased with the the results. I appreciated the timeliness of the estimating process (gave it to me on the spot after about 30 minutes of discussing options). I was impressed by the professionalism, organization and ability (unsolicited) to show proof of liability insurance, etc.The actual tree removal process went very well. I wish I could say the same for the stump removal. We had to wait several days, and the level of communication from Arbor Masters about it was less than stellar. I understand scheduling conflicts and equipment break-downs, but these things need to be communicated immediately to the customer. The customer should not have to keep checking in about it. Plus, as a "favor for our troubles," I was told the workers would haul off some excess brush in our yard as the result of a massive clean-up effort. This never happened and I grew tired of asking about it.The communication breakdown was not fatal…but it's annoying. Part of delivering great customer service experiences is constant communication, whether it's good news or bad.
After 18 years my Bradford pear dropped a large branch so I knew it was time to have the tree removed. With established landscape surrounding the tree, I anticipated a certain amount of damage. The crew showed up on schedule and began to carefully remove the tree. The next morning they returned to grind out the trunk and once completed did an excellent job of cleaning up. What surprised me most was that there was negligible damage to the surrounding landscape. In fact, several iris planted just inches from the trunk we left untouched. I could not have asked for better service.
