Emily Tyler was born in North Carolina, however, has spent the majority of her life in Georgia, building a life and career that are both deeply connected to the community she loves. Emily's journey with Augusta Mortgage Company began in January 2024. Outside of the office, Emily's life is filled with the joy of family, faith, and her four-legged babies. Her heart belongs to her wonderful husband, and their two black Labrador Retrievers, who are very much a part of the family. Jennifer Neal joined Augusta Mortgage as a third-generation mortgage professional having 20 years experience in the mortgage industry. Jennifer's career began in 1996 at a family-owned business in Augusta, where she worked as a mortgage loan processor. After many years in the business, Jennifer moved to California for a position which led to her obtaining a real estate & mortgage license, which then led to an operations management position where she supervised 30 employees. Currently, Jennifer is a Sr. licensed mortgage loan originator in both GA & SC offering VA, FHA, USDA, Conventional and Jumbo home purchase and refinance mortgage loans and special programs. Kevin McDougal was born and raised in Florence, SC and has worked in the mortgage industry since 2001. He graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Corporate Finance in December of 2000. After graduating, Kevin worked and traveled through Australia for 6 months before beginning his career in the mortgage industry in Charlotte, NC. With his excellent customer service skills and hard work, Kevin excelled at every position he has held including post-closing, closing, underwriting and sales. Kevin moved to Augusta in January 2005 with his Augusta-native wife, Amelia McCutcheon, to expand his mortgage career. He joined Augusta Mortgage Company as a residential loan specialist where he was awarded the Gold Award by MBAG from 2009-2016. He is a member of the Augusta Board of Realtors, Builders Association of Metro Augusta and the Sales and Marketing Council of Augusta. Kevin previously served as the Governor for the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia. Kevin is an Eagle Scout and a member of the Executive Board of the Georgia-Carolina Council of Boy Scouts of America. He is an active member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. Melissa Fulghum, is an Augusta native and graduate of Georgia Military College. She has been actively involved in lending since 2004. Melissa is an expert on the entire spectrum of loan products and has in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of the lending process. Shelly Waltz Campbell is a native of Columbia County and graduated from North Georgia College and State University in 2000 with a BBA in Marketing. She started her financial career with SunTrust Bank dealing with a variety of loan products. Shelly then became a licensed real estate agent with Blanchard and Calhoun and has held an active real estate license since 2004. She is very excited to be a part of Augusta Mortgage, where she can combine her banking knowledge and her real estate experience to provide excellent customer service to her buyers. Shelly is a member of the Greater Augusta Association of Realtors, the Augusta Board of Realtors, the Builders Association of Metro Augusta, the Sales and Marketing Council of Augusta. She is also a fundraising committee member for the local United Way and an active organizer for the annual Storybook Brunch for the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation. Taylor joined Augusta Mortgage in the summer of 2021. With a full year's experience in processing and underwriting, Taylor guides clients each step of the way. As a Loan Originator, he strives to navigate the financing process as seamlessly as possible with the help of the entire team. Outside of Augusta Mortgage, Taylor is an active member of Good Shepherd Church, Kiwanis Club, Newman Tennis Center, and Camp Sea Gull's young alumni group. He writes PGA Tour golf blogs for the Tour Junkies media group. Taylor graduated from the University of the South in 2017 and 2021 with a bachelor's and master's degree in theological studies.
