She believes in the power of massage therapy to help individuals connect with not just their body but overall well-being. Aeri is proficient in both English and Korean. Aeri Kim graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. She believes in the power of massage therapy to help individuals connect with not just their body but overall well-being. Aeri understands the importance of active listening and a flexible attitude, which allows the clients a customized treatment plan that is perfectly suitable for each individual's needs. Her focus is to help clients reach their physical goals for daily life and happiness by easy-approach exercise & daily living changes. She committed to continuous learning to provide better care for them. Angel Leung - Founder

Angel Leung is a Registered Nurse and the founder of Baby Bean Consulting. Her focus is to support women through a miscarriage, pregnancy after loss, or postpartum transition. Angel Leung is the founder of Baby Bean Consulting and a Registered Nurse by profession. In her personal journey, she experienced recurrent pregnancy losses, had severe anxiety during her pregnancies after loss, and navigated a traumatic postpartum transition after delivering her youngest. What became clear to her in these challenging life seasons, was the very real need for women to have a health advocate. Angel has previously spent time working at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at BC Women's hospital and Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. In addition to bedside care, Angel has acted as a Clinical Instructor for UBC's School of Nursing and served as a Regional Clinical Systems Educator for Vancouver Coastal Health. Private sector work experience includes a role as the Director of Wellness for Amica Senior Lifestyles. Angel is a firm believer that what women really need is empathetic care during difficult times - care that is timely, knowledgeable, and genuine. Barb Clay

As a Clinical Counsellor who specializes in trauma, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and abuse and neglect, she adapts a treatment plan for individuals using a variety of techniques. Trained as an Adlerian therapist Barb integrates additional techniques including Somatic Experiencing Therapy, Emotional Focused Family Therapy, Hypnosis, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Barb believes that counselling can give greater insight into an individual's life; their strengths, fears, attachment styles, emotions and behaviours creating an understanding as to how one approaches work, relationships, and parenting the way they do. She assists clients in exploring negative thought patterns, their relationship between emotions, food and body image, how to build skills and resources to effectively handle stress, depression and anxiety as well as learning relaxation and emotional regulation skills for symptom reduction. Counselling offers a safe place to recognize patterns, process information and work through the various struggles one may be facing. Barb firmly believes that people have the ability to change and that people are able to be active and creative during the change process. She strongly believes in addressing the root causes of health issues rather than merely treating symptoms. Dr. Amber Eckel is a Chiropractor and co-owner at AIM. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the College of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan, before pursuing a 4-year Doctorate program in Chiropractic. She then graduated as Valedictorian of the centennial class of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic at SCUHS. Dr. Amber Eckel is a Chiropractor and co-owner of AIM. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the College of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008, before pursuing a 4-year Doctorate program in Chiropractic. She then graduated as Valedictorian of the centennial class of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences. Upon graduation she also received the Dr. Lester McCoy Clinical Excellence award. Dr. Eckel has practiced in a variety of multidiscilinary clinics, chiropractic mission trips, as well as numerous athletic events gaining invaluable experience while furthering her passion for health and wellness. She has attended seminars all over the world to expand her knowledge in chiropractic philosophy and principles, pediatric development, nutritional healing, postural retraining, and sports rehab. His passion for Football landed him a scholarship at Simon Fraser University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Following University, Dr. Jamieson went onto pursue his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Boucher Institute in New Westminster, BC. Dr. Jamieson was first introduced to Naturopathic Medicine through his own health challenges. Many hard years on the field and in the gym left him with a whole host of left over injuries. He struggled with chronic pain and slowly began to accept the fact he would be stuck suffering for years to come. Dr. Michelle Kwok is a Chiropractor at AIM with a diverse background in Kinesiology and Chiropractic. She completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology at the University of British Columbia, where she laid the foundation for her understanding of the human body and its intricate connection to the mind. Motivated by her passion for healthcare, Michelle went on to obtain her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from the University of Western States. Dr. Tasneem (Tashu) Premji

Dr. Tasneem (Tashu) Premji is a dually licensed Chiropractor & RMT here in British Columbia & a co-owner of AIM. She graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in June 2020 and prior to that graduated with Honours as a Registered Massage Therapist from Vancouver Career College in 2015. Dr. Tasneem Premji, Tashu as most call her, is a dually licensed practitioner in British Columbia and Co-Owner of AIM. She graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in June 2020 and prior to that graduated with Honours as a Registered Massage Therapist from Vancouver Career College in 2015. Tashu loves anything to do with people, health, and the body. She has always been interested in how the body heals innately, how it functions in the presence of various stressors, and how individuals subjectively view their own health. She pursued this interest academically at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree with a distinction in Health Studies in 2012.

Dr. Wei-Ting (William) Li

Dr. William Li is a Registered Acupuncturist and TCM Practitioner, with over 10 years of experience in the field. He received his Doctorate and Masters in Acupuncture from the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, and holds TCM licenses in British Columbia, as well as in China and Hong Kong. His experience includes addressing numbness and pain in the musculoskeletal system (head, neck, back, limbs, sciatica, etc.), though his passion is to apply a synergistic combination of acupuncture and herbs to treat internal conditions including insomnia, skin ailments including eczema and psoriasis, digestive disorders and IBS, and gynecological concerns such irregular menstruation and menopause.

Micah Miller

Micah Miller is our newest RMT at AIM. She graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2022. Micah makes it her goal to help and support her patients by restoring flexibility, strength and balance to areas of pain and injury. She enjoys treating a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions using: General Swedish Massage, Myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization. She has a special interest in prenatal and pediatrics. Micah believes that she can empower her clients and help them get back to doing the things they love. In her spare time, you can find Micah swimming, hiking, spending quality time with her family, friends & dog Dante. Micah is fluent in Tagalog and English.

Nicole Fedoruk

Nicole is a Registered Massage Therapist at AIM, and a graduate of Vancouver Career College. She has had a strong interest in anatomy and the human body for years. Nicole grew up dancing and playing soccer, and from a very young age had to deal with her own injuries and musculoskeletal pains. Her interest in helping athletes recover quickly is seen in her practice. Nicole puts a strong emphasis on helping muscles and joints improve their functional abilities by decreasing pain, improving range of motion, and increasing strength. Nicole has specific training in swedish massage, myofascial release, GTO release, trigger point therapy, passive and active stretching, and patient education. Nicole brings a unique background to her massage practice from her background as a dancer, aerialist, and circus coach. She loves using her knowledge and experience to help you achieve your health and wellness goals and looks forward to working with you.

Sae Yamasaki

Sae Yamasaki is a VCMT graduate and lifelong Vancouverite. Whether the concern is stress reduction or pain relief, research shows that massage therapy is an effective optimizer of the body's ability to heal and repair itself. Sae is a strong believer in this philosophy of treatment, and takes an orthopaedic approach to understanding and treating the body, within its capabilities and limitations. Her proficiencies include a variety of corrective techniques such as neuromuscular and joint mobilizations, and is certified in NMT and IASTM. Prior to becoming an RMT, Sae worked as a Shiatsu Therapist and as a residential care aid for adults with developmental and mental health conditions.

Shauna Coxe

Shauna is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner and Somatic Touch provider at AIM. She specializes in treating the effects of chronic stress, early life trauma and inter-generationally transmitted traumatic stress through Somatic Bodywork. Her scope includes neonatal trauma, birth trauma, syndromal patterns or unexplained illnesses, women's health and stress illnesses, including the impact of compounded shock traumas. Shauna also treats the effects of shock traumas such as motor vehicle accidents, falls and injuries and offers trauma informed lymphatic drainage and scar integration work for those who have had surgery recently or in the past. Shauna uses Somatic Touch and Bodywork to address the layers of traumatic stress that stores in our bodies. Sharing our story and experiences in life is important, but much of what is patterning in our bodies has a non verbal story. She brings to her practice over 20 years of bodywork and massage experience. Her own experience in life, as a mother of three and having experienced motor vehicle accidents, surgical trauma, early life and inter-generationally transmitted trauma patterns led her to seek out body based, nervous system work to heal. Education: Shauna completed her certification in Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Aromatherapy and Body mechanics in 2001. In 2013, Shauna continued her studies, completing an Applied Psychology Bachelors' degree in pre-counselling Psychology. Her studies included early human development, self regulation and emotional intelligence. Honouring her many years of experience working with clients nervous systems through massage practice. In 2019, Shauna began her studies in Somatic Experiencing® a body based psychotherapy model for traumatic stress regulation and trauma renegotiation. She has taken specialized training to offer her sessions in person and online. Shauna has completed post graduate studies in Somatic Practice Touch® skills and Resilience and Regulation® training in the Somatic effects of Early Developmental Trauma, Epigenetics and Attachment. This focus helps her provide healing from the effects of early trauma and traumatic stress by working directly with our nervous system. Her own experience in life as a mother of three, having experienced motor vehicle accidents, surgical trauma early life and inter-generational transmitted trauma patterns led her to seek out body based, nervous system work to heal.

Zuzana Freidmann

Zuzana is excited to be a part of the team at AIM. She has always had great passion for holistic nutrition, healing and working one on one with people on their healing paths. After completing her studies in holistic nutrition she enjoyed leading seminars with the inherent message that "health begins with education". Her desire to continue learning and teaching led her to pursue live blood analysis as a way to discover the root of health issues as seen in our living blood cells and their environment.
