The history of Café du Sud goes back to 1986 when we set a tent near the dunes and served tea to the very few tourists arriving in our region. Often people asked us for a place to sleep, so eventually, we built a basic camp, with desert tents so that people would spend the night... Taking advantage of the fact that this desert area is already linked to State water, we have a magnificent swimming pool, filled in an ecological way and without withdrawing water from the groundwater that exists under the dunes... We have a group of cooks with immense experience, who know how to prepare the best regional dishes in the best possible way.
