Aurelius has been managing capital since 2006. Its founder and Chairman, Mark Brodsky, had been a Senior Portfolio Manager and member of the Management Committee at Elliott Management Corp. Aurelius's CIO, Eleanor Chan, has been at the firm since its inception... The members of the investment team have a direct participation in the firm's economics. We believe this structure incentivizes cooperation among team members toward the common goal of making money for our clients... We are singularly focused on stressed/distressed credit and select event-driven opportunities. Our goal is to manage a highly idiosyncratic portfolio that generates attractive risk-adjusted returns with low beta, while preserving capital.
