Bob's automotive experience came from hands-on and apprenticeships. He went to work for his uncle John Zaraledis, owner of J&R Foreign Cars of Lowell Massachusetts at the age of 15. J&R Foreign Cars specializes in VW, Audi, Mercedes Benz, BMW and most other foreign manufacturers. John and his original partner Roger Cartwright had many years of dealership experience and passed along his knowledge to Jason.
Chris worked as a technician for years at Autobahn Performance and at a major Volkswagen dealership. He's trained in VWs and specializes in VW and Audi.
Don has been working in the Automotive business since 1991 as an automotive technician. He is an experienced ASE certified master technician and also a Volkswagen master technician. Don has over 15 years of experience working for Volkswagen and Audi dealerships. He is qualified to work on Volkswagen and Audi high voltage (hybrid) vehicles. He also owned and operated his own Audi and Volkswagen performance shop for over 5 years.
While he specializes in Volkswagen and Audi repair and performance, he is qualified to help you with all your European automobile needs.
Don is also a rescue certified scuba diver and enjoys flying.

Gerd has been a loyal employee of Autobahn Performance Inc. since February of 2007. Gerd has been a technician since 1976. He was trained at and worked for various automotive manufacturers in Germany. Gerd specializes in Volvo and Audi but is very knowledgeable on vehicles from all European manufacturers.
Herb started with us after ten years service experience at Mercedes-Benz dealers. There he received Mercedes-Benz training and certifications. Herb is Mercedes Maybach certified and was the lead Maybach technician at a local Mercedes-Benz dealership. Herb is also Mercedes SLR trained. Herb is an avid fisherman and boating enthusiast.

Jason got his first car, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, at the age of 14. He repaired and restored the vehicle night and day until it became like new condition. So, when he got his drivers license, the very day he turned 15 1/2 (lowest age state of Massachusetts would allow), he did not want to drive it as his daily car. Instead he bought a 1985 Chevy 4×4 K20 pickup truck to use for his daily transportation so he could keep the Camaro garaged and out of the brutal northern winters.
Racing has always been a large portion of Jason's DNA makeup. He has been working on race cars since 1986 when he was 16 years old. His good friend Michael Mazur and Michael's father Mike Sr. owned a Super Modified racecar that was driven by great drivers such as Benley Warren, Doug Hevron and Eddie West. Jason was just a helper at the time but learned about racing at racetracks like Star Speedway (now called All-Star Speedway) Hudson Speedway in Hudson, NH, Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY, and Sundusky Speedway in Ohio.
Jason is the crew chief on a Late Model Series car that has run successfully throughout Florida and the southeast since 1993. He has worked with several drivers but has been with John Kay and the A-Best Forklift team most of the current time. Together they have been Triple Crown champions, Hooters Cup champions, S.A.R.A. champions, and have won races at most of the racetracks in Florida. The team recently acquired a NASCAR Modified race car.
Malte first came to work at Autobahn in 1993. At the time he was employed by a local Mercedes dealer (Autohaus Mercedes). He and Mike Andreoni (also a dealer tech) performed an air conditioning evaporator r&r on a state of the art / cutting edge of technology (for that time period) 140 chassis S class Mercedes. The job went well and Malte has been an asset to the company since then.
