Dai Vu

Dai Vu is serving as Director in charge of corporate restructuring at Auxesia. He has over 25 year experience in senior management, management consulting, and corporate restructuring in many different sectors such as F&B, consumer goods, manufacturing, finance, commercial and services in Vietnam. Before Auxesia, Dai held the position of Deputy General Director at Vinh Tien Paper JSC, Director of Customer Relationship at Dong A Bank, and Director of Marketing at Tiep Thi Ben Thanh Co. He consulted on the matter of management and restructuring for several large corporations in Vietnam such as Kinh Do Corporation, Thai Tuan Textile and Garment Group, Mai Linh Taxi, Phu Nhuan Jewelry JSC, An Giang Plant Protection JSC (Loc Troi Group), Vietnam Fumigation JSC, Binh Tien JSC (Bitis), and Tien Giang Investment and Construction JSC. He is also a lecturer and advisor for the International Management Qualification (IMQ) program of Business Edge, providing training in market research and sales management at HCMC Cadre Institute and training programs for Vietnamese banks. He obtained a B.A. in Literature from University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a B.S. in Business Administration from HCMC Open University, and several degrees on management consulting and corporate restructuring in Vietnam and abroad.

Douglas Clayton

Douglas Clayton founded Leopard Capital in 2007, and has over 25 year experience in emerging markets investments. As a senior executive at CLSA Securities, Indosuez WI Carr Securities, and Kerry Securities, he managed investment teams in Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, New York City, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, and Chile. In 1999, Douglas founded Abacus Equity Partners which arranged and participated in several of Thailand's most successful private equity investments. He serves as Technical Advisor to the Director-General of the Securities & Exchange Commission of Cambodia, and Trustee of the Center for Khmer Studies. Douglas holds a MM from Thailand's Chulalongkorn University and a BA from Cornell University.

Hao Diep

Hao Diep is serving as Director in charge of capital raising at Auxesia. She has nearly 15 year experience in investment banking and project management. Hao works closely with family-owned businesses that need capital to fund their new development opportunities. Before Auxesia, she consulted for Bank of America-Merrill Lynch in US, and facilitated fund-to-fund private equity transactions in Indochina. Hao graduated with top score in International Business at Institute of International Relations in Vietnam. She graduated MBA in International Finance with high honors at Thunderbird School of Global Management in US.

Hiep Huynh - President

Hiep Huynh has more than 30 years of experience at senior positions in the government authority system in Vietnam. Hiep served as the Deputy Director of HCMC Department of Industry and Trade, in charge of imports and exports, and trade and investment promotion. During his time at the HCMC People's Committee as the Deputy Chief of Office, he was in charge of matters related to economy, investment, imports and exports, and supported in organizing annual events of the HCMC People's Committee about trade and investment promotion for domestic enterprises as well as FDI enterprises. With his current position as the President of HCMC of Consultancy Association, he participated in advising member enterprises on matters related to management, finance, and investment. Hiep has a B.S. in Economics from University of Economics HCMC, a B.A from National Academy of Public Administration, a degree of international finance and investment from a collaborating program between Institute of Economics HCMC and Merrill Lynch, and a certificate of investment project appraisal from Harvard University sponsored by Fulbright Program.

Huong Nguyen

Huong Nguyen is serving as Director in charge of M&A at Auxesia. She has more than 10 year experience in finance and audit. Before Auxesia, she was a senior auditor at BDO Vietnam, responsible for statutory and group audit engagements on a wide range of companies in different industries such as consumer goods, pharmaceutical, education, agriculture, manufacturing, real estate and logistics. Huong obtained a B.S. in Corporate Finance and Banking from University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City, and a Global MBA with honors from the School of Business, Chonnam National University, South Korea.

James Seymour - Chairman

James Seymour is Chairman of Auxesia. He has over 30 years of investment and finance experience in emerging markets through 18 years at Bankers Trust, living and working in Asia, Europe and Middle East; 13 years at Commonfund Capital, managing international/emerging markets private equity funds of funds; and 4 years at EMP Global, a Washington based emerging markets private equity fund. He has served on 18 private equity advisory boards, and was the founding Chairman of the Advisory Board of EMPEA. He serves several non-profit boards including the Global Partnership for Afghanistan. Mr. Seymour is a graduate of Yale University in International Relations and Harvard Business School in International Finance.

John Cook

John has more than 30 year experience in business development, marketing, finance and asset management at International Harvester in the Middle East; Univestors S.A., covering European family offices; Merrill Lynch International, managing private and institutional clients; Security Pacific Merchant Bank, as Director of European Business Development; and W.J. Hopper & Co. Ltd., as a co-founder. John has a BSIM cum-laude from Krannert - Purdue University, and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

John Mathis

John Mathis is a professor of global banking and finance and the director of the Global Financial Services Center at Thunderbird School of Global Management. Before joining the Thunderbird faculty, Dr. Mathis was a senior portfolio officer with the World Bank/IFC, and a senior financial analyst with the World Bank/IFC for Reconstruction and Development. In addition, he was formerly chief international economist with Continental Illinois National Bank (now part of Bank of America Corp.), and was also previously an international economist at Chase Manhattan Bank (now JPMorgan/Chase). Dr. Mathis earned his Ph.D. in economics at University of Iowa and received both his MA and his MBA (both in economics) from the University of California, Riverside.

John Vong

John Vong is a Board member at Auxesia. He has more than 30 year experience in banking and finance, especially in the ASEAN financial sector. He has managed projects for the World Bank, United Nations, Asian Development Bank, 5 International Banks, 6 Global Technology Companies and ASEAN governments. He has listed a bank on the stock exchange in Vietnam, started 2 banks in Cambodia and Laos, helped designed an economic surveillance system for the central bank in Philippines, and launched new national financial initiatives in Singapore. Between 1999 to 2001, he was a team leader in restructuring and re-capitalizing 200 banks in Indonesia. Prior to 1994, he held senior appointments at HSBC Banking Group in a 15-year career, managing a client portfolio in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. John completed his research PhD at the University of Bradford UK, qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in Australia, and undertook professional development at MIT-Harvard University Consensus Building Institute.

Loan Ma - CEO

Loan Ma is serving as CEO at Auxesia. She has over 15 years of investment and finance experience in Vietnam. Before Auxesia, she was Managing Partner of Tin Phat Real Estate, developing buy-side and sell-side investment strategies. Loan also served as Deputy CFO of Hung Thinh Paper, a privately held manufacturing company, helping in financial structure and capital rising, as well as preparing the company to go public. As a broker for BIDV Securities Company, she provided investment advice and portfolio management for high-net-worth individual and institutional investors investing successfully in Vietnam's stock market. Currently, she holds the position of Co-Chair of Thunderbird Private Investment Center in Asia, an association of more than 40,000 members including private equity funds, venture funds, pension funds, endowment funds, etc., with capital under management of about $US 50 billion. Loan holds a B.S. in Economics from Banking University in Ho Chi Minh City and an MBA in Global Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management in US.

Phuong Vo

Phuong Vo is serving as Director in charge of market entry and project development at Auxesia. He has more than 25 year experience in production management and project development in many different sectors, especially in F&B, agriculture, and manufacturing. Before Auxesia, he was Member of the Board Directors of Vietnam Dairy Products JSC (Vinamilk), Director of Production and Director of Project Development at Asia Saigon Food Ingredients JSC, Anh Hong Co Ltd, DFB Hanco JSC. Phuong is now advising for several FDI projects in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. He obtained a B.S. from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, certificates in project management and development, and a professional certificate in F&B production technology from Dalum Technical College, Denmark.

Ryan Galloway

Ryan Galloway is serving as Director in charge of law and investor relations at Auxesia. He has more than 10 year experience in finance, law, business development, and investor relations. Ryan has strong expertise in Vietnam's financial services, consumer goods and agricultural industries. Before Auxesia, he worked as an attorney in New York, Washington D.C., successfully facilitating direct investment in the clean-tech industry and other transactions in private equity. While at Osaka International Law Office in Osaka, Japan, he negotiated an international securities transaction with one of the United States' largest insurance companies. He is currently a UNICEF Next Generation Steering Committee member. Ryan received his MBA in Global Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve School of Law in US.
