Alkis Economou was admitted to the Athens Bar Association in 1980 and is qualified to appear before the Supreme Court. He has served as a legal advisor for many public tenders, and has frequently overseen the execution of projects within the framework of national and European Union legislation. In the past, Mr. Economou has offered his services as a legal advisor to the European Commission in the following cases before the European Court of Justice: a) In the Public Power Corporation case (PPC v. European Commission, case T-169/08), b) In the Olympic Airways case (Olympic Airways S.A. v. European Commission, case T-68/03), c) In the case of ferries in the "Greece - Italy" line (Greek Ferry Owners v. Michael-C. Poulakos is one of the founding partners of Avramopoulos & Partners Law Firm and is currently heading up the Firms Labour and Litigation Departments. He has extensive experience across the entire labour and employment law spectrum, including litigation and labour dispute resolution. As a senior legal consultant in the European division of the English legal consultancy Lawspeed Limited based in Brighton she acted in a wide range of cases involving recruitment and employment law as well IP, Tax, Data Protection, IT and E-commerce law for well-known UK and international companies.
Since 2014, Mina heads the legal department of ICAP CRIF, the only credit rating agency in Greece approved by ESMA and has developed strong business acumen serving as general counsel to the group companies in Greece and in Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria, identifying and mitigating legal risks, while balancing the same with commercial aspects in order to facilitate the business goals. Yanna joined Avramopoulos & Partners Law Firm in 2004 initially as a Junior Partner and eventually becoming a Partner. She serves as a legal advisor to subsidiary companies of various large domestic and multinational companies and she is also experienced in drafting and negotiating contracts, providing legal advice to clients and drafting legal reports.
Yanna has extensive experience in timesharing, travel and leisure sectors and in resort development law. Between the years of 2000 and 2004, she was the in-house counsel and Legal Services & Human Resources Manager for RCI Greece S.A. In this capacity, she developed an in-depth understanding of the tourism industry in Greece, and in particular of the timeshare sub-sector, as well as hotel and resort development. During this time, she also dealt with corporate, contracts, litigation and consumer protection issues.
Yanna has represented hospitality clients in virtually every type of matter affecting their businesses for more than two decades, and she is specifically known for her experience in shared vacation ownership and club membership products.
