Bev worked in research for 10 years after graduation with a B.Sc (Hon) in Chemistry. She completed studies in medical sciences and clinical training in the UK to become a Medical Herbalist. Since 2000, Bev's focus at Maya Natural Health has been functional endocrinology. Bev also practices at the Westcoast Women's Clinic for Midlife Health in Vancouver which specializes in treatment of peri & post menopause. In addition to her clinical practice, Bev manages and operates every aspect of Avicenna Natural Products Inc. Bev is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and a professional member of American Herbalists Guild. Bev is one of 20 professionally trained Medical Herbalists in Canada.
