Alex K. Babu - Chief Investment Officer
Alex K. Babu who handles all the financial aspects of the company is also the Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of the Hedge Group of Companies. Recognized for his youthful zeal, creativity and business intelligence, Alex believes his role as a business leader is to lead the organization and society through change.
After having successfully spearheaded Phillips Foods India, Ltd, the world's largest crabmeat producer's Indian operations for over 15years as its Managing Director and having won many awards and laurels for the company with repeated bench marking performances, Alex K Thomas joined Baby Marine Ventures in 2011 as Chief Strategy Officer. The vast experience and knowledge he brought in has changed the face of Baby Marine Ventures from a family concern to a professionally managed Corporate.

Armed with an MBA from the International Business form University of Leeds, UK and also from ICFAI School of Business, Bangalore, coupled with his experience from factory operations and production, Anush K Thomas brings on board good analytical expertise and a strong grasp on business fundamentals. In addition to this, he is the Managing Director of Uniroyal Marine Exports Ltd.
Jacob K. Babu joined the family business in 2002. Prior to this, he received his Masters in International Business from UK and has been responsible for building the strong client base Baby Marine Ventures has now. His constant endeavour and business acumen has helped us cater to customers like Carrefour, Metro and other world renowned food processors and supermarket chains. He also spearheaded the Group's foray into Real Estate, Entertainment, Restaurants and Logistics.

Jophi K. Jose brings to the group extensive experience, knowledge and market insights gleaned from his 17 year career in production, quality control and audits. He has handled audits by USFDA, BRC and other industry leaders. Apart from this, Jophi K. Jose himself is certified in ISO22000, HACCP, BRC and IFS.

K. C. Babu is the visionary behind Baby Marine Ventures. He is credited with the rise of Baby Marine Ventures in the global market, earning a reputation for shrewd business acumen and intelligent expansion strategies. He now encourages and guides the younger generation in identifying and pursuing potential opportunities.
K. C. Thomas sensed the tremendous potential in Seafood business and pioneered Baby Marine Ventures' into one of the topmost seafood companies in the country. "Mandapam Flower", the celebrated wild-caught shrimp and Baby Marine Ventures' strong network of raw material sourcing is the result of his dedicated efforts. He now provides direction and inspiration to Generation next.
A meticulous and industrious person, T. Manukuttan played a key role since 1977 in managing and building production teams of some of the best food processing factories in Kerala. From 1992 onwards, he has been with Baby Marine Ventures and is currently Director of Production for all factories under our umbrella.
