At Baker Hardwoods we specialize in claro walnut slabs. We mill locally grown California claro walnut into high quality slabs used in a variety of projects from large table tops, bar-tops, and counter tops and executive tables to medium sized benches and coffee tables. Some of our most beautifully figured wood is small cuts perfect for clocks, jewelry boxes, gunstocks, and musical instruments. We have a variety of quality claro walnut slabs... At Baker Hardwoods we produce live edged slabs for specialized furniture production. Located in Gilroy , CA. , we specialize in Claro walnut. We also carry a supply of other species such as elm and redwood. Nearly all of our slabs have been air dried for no less than 4 years AND kiln Dried. We do not document slabs for sale that are still green. Our slabs are resposibly and locally sourced. Many are reclaimed logs from trees felled due to construction.
