Dave was born and raised in Berks County. Graduated from Boyertown high school 1979. Dave started his career as an automotive technician out of high school. Dave accepted a position at Bally Block on the finishing line in 1983. After working in every department in the plant, including the Maintenance department Dave accepted the Maintenance Supervisor position in 1993.Dave was promoted to the Plant Manager position in 1999. Fred joined the Wood Welded Companies in 1993. Previous to taking the helm of Michigan Maple Block Co., Fred worked as plant manager for the Fortune 500 company, Federal Mogul. Fred is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Petoskey, Michigan operations. Fred spends his free time on his Harley-Davidson and working out his game on the links.
Armed with a teaching degree from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Jim took a "temporary" position with Bally Block Company over 35 years ago. Along the way, Jim has held just about every position-from shipper to lumber buyer to president-learning every aspect of this business, eventually becoming president of the company. Next to his personal family, the most significant thing in his life has been management of the Wood Welded family.

Joe Barbercheck joined Michigan Maple Block Co. in 2002 as National Sales Manager. He arrived in northern Michigan in 1998 after having spent 20 years as the owner of an Interior Design firm in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2012 he took over the position of VP of Sales and Marketing for the Wood Welded Companies and was responsible for all trade shows, media collateral and sales. In 2019 he was appointed as General Manager of the Michigan Maple Block factory. After the closure of the Michigan facility he has returned to VP of Sales and Marketing. Email Joe >
