Dale Fickett

Dale Fickett serves as an Independent Advisor Representative at Barrett Capital Management, and as RVA Works' president & co-founder. At RVA Works he holds overall responsibility for the organization's pursuit of its mission to help more people become business owners. RVA Works is a Public Charity providing education, technology, capital and consulting through a national network of over 50 program sponsors and volunteers. Fickett also serves as Chairman of the Haiti Committee - a humanitarian mission of the Catholic Church, providing microloans, education and health care in Carissade, Haiti. Fickett has previously worked in Capital Markets and Transactions Banking during his tenure with Accenture. As a strategy consultant, based in Dublin and London, he developed new client relationships, led strategic planning, and IT transformation programs in multinational banks. He has lectured and conducted related research at Trinity College Dublin, The Wharton School - University of Pennsylvania, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Northwestern University. He has authored "Faith & Sustainable Economic Development," "Towards a More Just Economy" and co-authored both "Developmental Entrepreneurship in Sub-Saharan Africa: Assessing Financial and Social Returns" and "RVA Works - Empowering Entrepreneurs for Big Change." He served in economic advisory roles on the Governor's Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Working Group (Virginia), the U.S. Senate Small Business Productivity Award Panel, the Virginia Business Incubation Association, and the Virginia Catholic Conference. An entrepreneur at heart, earlier in his career he launched a venture in the retail chocolate industry. He holds an MBA magna cum laude, Villanova University, and a BSBA cum laude, LaSalle University.

Damir Strmel

Damir Strmel is the Director of Quantitative Development for Barrett Capital Management, LLC and brings extensive experience in the areas of wealth management and financial engineering experience. Before joining Barrett Capital Management, LLC, Damir spent 11 years at private investment funds creating and modeling trading algorithms in addition to developing software to implement, monitor and evaluate investment strategies. At Barrett Capital Management, LLC, Damir has worked with Russell Lundeberg, Jr. to help develop metrics that identify and monitor the key fundamental data driving global markets. This collaboration has culminated in the development of a unique quantitative methodology using fundamental market data to identify market inflection points and future pricing trends. While Damir leverages his technical skills to derive fact based, data driven conclusions, his ability to "think outside the box" allows him to get beyond the conventional wisdom and academic literature constraining many advisors.

With almost four decades of sales management, company ownership experience, and civic involvement, he is very dedicated to meeting the needs of his clients. David is Series 65 registered as an Investment Advisory Agent. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing. Jeff Lear serves as a relationship consultant for Barrett Capital Management and is Series 65 Registered as an Investment Advisory Agent. His role includes working with both high net worth clients as well as leading Barrett Capital's institutional efforts. Jeff's educational background includes graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management as well as the Mini MBA Program from the University of Richmond, along with various sales and sales management certifications. With over 30 years of sales and sales management experience including co-founding a successful cloud-based technology company, Jeff is well versed with being able to understand the needs of his clients and carefully mapping those needs to the various investment strategies offered at Barrett Capital Management.

Russell E. Lundeberg Jr. is the Chief Investment Officer for Barrett Capital Management, LLC. Russell has been working in the investment industry for more than 25 years. He has extensive experience in the areas of researching, developing and implementing quantitative investment strategies, and is well regarded for his expertise with alternative investments, portfolio management, and investment analysis. He holds the CPA designation and is Series 65 registered as an Investment Advisory Agent. Russell is a former member of the Central Virginia Board of Governors, and the statewide Board of Directors for the Virginia Opera. Russell has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Richmond in Accounting and a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Virginia. Ryan D. Greenlee - Chief Compliance Officer, COO

Ryan D. Greenlee, CFP® is the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Barrett Capital Management, LLC. Ryan brings over 20 years of Fortune 500 experience to Barrett Capital Management and is able to draw from a diverse background in Strategy, Finance, Technology, Compliance, Risk Management, and Operations. He is passionate about meeting goals in organizations that promote integrity, teamwork, and results. After recognizing those qualities in Barrett Capital Management and learning that their success is only achievable through client success, he enthusiastically joined the team in 2022. Since then, he has enjoyed putting his diverse and unique skillset to work, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, financial strength, and sound strategies to guide individuals and families toward their life goals. Ryan began his career at General Electric (GE) in Charlottesville, VA after graduating from James Madison University with a BS in Communications. In 1999, Ryan received a GE management award for outstanding achievement which allowed him to pursue graduate studies at the University of Virginia. After receiving his MS, Management of Information Systems degree from the McIntire School of Commerce in 2001, Ryan joined GE Financial Assurance (now Genworth Financial) in Richmond, VA. There, he gained exposure to senior needs planning, Medicare supplement programs, long term care insurance, life Insurance, and annuities in addition to group plans, employee benefit planning, and ERISA regulations. After the Great Recession, Ryan was tapped to join the strategy team where he led cross functional teams through challenging market conditions to ensure future success. Once completed, he served as a Product Leader focused on offering a long term care employee benefit package for small and mid-sized businesses to attract and retain employees as well as offering tax advantaged risk protection for owners and key employees. In 2013, Ryan joined the financial planning and analysis team at McKesson Medical-Surgical, a distributor of medical supplies for Long Term Care facilities and at home care providers, where he created a business plan to expand further into the online marketplace and received the "iCare award" for demonstrating integrity, customer focus, accountability, respect, and excellence. At the end of 2016, Ryan joined the finance and business intelligence teams at Jones Lang LaSalle where he helped clients navigate through the unique challenges of the COVID pandemic and received a "Spotlight" award for support of a volunteer resource group dedicated to helping employees who are caregiving for loved ones while managing their career. Ryan and his wife, Lissa, were delighted to welcome both a son and daughter in March of 2013. They enjoy the outdoors and believe that philanthropy is a vital part of family life. Their activities have focused on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Alzheimer's Association, and the Cancer Foundation for Life in Tyler, TX. Ryan is a CFP® Professional. Individuals that earn the right to use the CFP® marks have successfully fulfilled the education, experience, ethics, and comprehensive examination requirements set forth by the CFP Board. Spencer Hines

Spencer Hines is a relationship consultant for Barrett Capital Management, LLC. His educational background includes graduating from St. Christopher's School, University of Virginia (BA), and The Darden School (MBA). His entire work experience has been in finance as a commercial banker, a corporate treasurer, and an investment banker. His business career began in New York and continues in Richmond. Throughout his life, he has served as a member of numerous boards of directors of business, civic, and non-profit organizations. His connections in business and other activities are abundant. He has two sons with whom he enjoys sports of all kinds and laughter.
