BDK desires to provide a modern interpretation of the Buddha's teaching and to create a more compassionate humanity through its global educational programs, and working towards contributing to the advancement of modern society... BDK Canada found in December 1987 as of not-for-profit corporations is part of international group of affiliated foundations. Our mission is to promote Buddhism to our society. Activities include distribution of Buddhist texts, supporting Buddhist temples and learning centers in Canada
