With over 15 years of distinguished real estate experience, Cheryl Sarnavka is a recognized real estate broker with a focus on commercial, luxury homes, and investment properties. She began her real estate career in 2004 in Mississauga selling high-end luxury homes prior to moving to the Waterloo Region.
Cheryl has a distinct philosophy - a belief in consistent hard work and professionalism, complemented by the knowledge base to provide reasoned perspective and advice with a level of sophistication rare in the industry. She has a vast real estate experience with a focus on Luxury Homes, International Properties, Sustainable Living, New Home Construction, and Business Brokering. Cheryl also has extensive experience working with builders on new home construction projects, notably: Matas Homes, Monarch Homes, and Aarondale Homes.
Cheryl is a Certified General Accountant (CGA) and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of experience in Finance and Operations. Her last financial position was that of a CFO in a publicly traded company in 2018. In 2015 she founded the boutique real estate brokerage, The Realty Den, with two offices, one in Kitchener and the other in Brampton. Currently, her mortgage focus is on spousal buyouts, funding arrangements for commercial and investment properties, as well as normal funding activities such as new mortgages, refinancing, renewals, and construction financing. "Getting into the lending industry is a great fit with my finance and real estate background and I am looking forward to working in the best interests of my client and providing triple-A customer service."
On a personal level, Cheryl likes to keep fit by working out, playing tennis, and swimming. She loves entertaining and spending time with friends and family. A community leader, she is involved in helping start-ups in the Waterloo Region and is a Director on the Board of the Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington.
