Albert Prast - CTO

Albert Prast joined AdaptHealth through its acquisition of AeroCare Holdings, Inc. in 2021, and brings over 30 years of technology operations & strategy and product development experience. Prior to AeroCare, Albert served as SVP of Cloud Technology at UnitedHealth Group, CTO of Cloud at Optum, CIO of Connextions Inc., and CTO/CIO of Rotech Medical Corporation. Albert is an executive who brings technical and operational experience from the payer, provider, and delivery sides of health care. Mr. Prast received his A.B. of Economics from the University of Michigan, as well as an MBA from Rollins College. He is an active investor in health care and technology companies, bringing his expertise to the board of organizations, including Datalink Software, ClinOne, and RxRevu.

Brad Coppens - Chairman

Bradley Coppens has served on our board of directors since July 2020. Brad Coppens joined One Equity Partners ("OEP") in 2006 and is a Managing Director based in New York. During his tenure at OEP, Mr. Coppens has focused on and completed numerous investments in the healthcare and technology-enabled services industries. From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Coppens lived in São Paulo, Brazil and led OEP's prior investing efforts in the region. Mr. Coppens is also a member of the boards of directors of Cless Cosméticos, Ernest Health, OneLink, The Results Companies, Simplura Health Group and Unicoba, and was previously a member of the boards of directors of Allied, Portal de Documentos, Prodigy Health Group, Systagenix Wound Management, Wow! Nutrition and X-Rite. Mr. Coppens was also deeply involved in OEP's investments in ArthroCare and Wright Medical. Prior to joining OEP, Mr. Coppens worked in the investment banking division of JPMorgan in the mergers and acquisitions group where he focused on healthcare and various other industries. Mr. Coppens is actively involved in a number of non-profit organizations and serves as a board member of The TEAK Fellowship. Mr. Coppens received his B.B.A. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with high distinction.

Christopher Joyce - Chief Legal Officer

Christopher Joyce joined AdaptHealth Holdings in 2018 as its General Counsel. Mr. Joyce has over 25 years of experience as chief legal officer and business development executive for publicly-traded and privately-held provider-based and managed care companies. Mr. Joyce most recently served as General Counsel of InnovaCare, Inc., a $2.0 billion managed care insurance company with 450,000 Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. Mr. Joyce holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany and a JD from the University of Chicago.

Dale Wolf

Dale Wolf has served as a member of the board of directors of Molina Healthcare, Inc. since 2013 and as chairman of the board since 2017. Mr. Wolf served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Onecall Care Management Inc. from January 2016 to February 2019 and as executive chairman from September 2015 to January 2016. Mr. Wolf served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of DBW Healthcare, Inc. from January 2014 to June 2018. Mr. Wolf served as the executive chairman of Correctional Healthcare Companies, Inc., a national provider of correctional health care solutions, from December 2012 to July 2014. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. Wolf served as Chief Executive Officer of Coventry Health Care, Inc., a diversified national health care company, and served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Coventry Health Care, Inc. from 1996 to 2005. Mr. Wolf was also a member of the boards of directors of Correctional Healthcare Companies, Inc. from 2012 to 2014, Coventry Healthcare, Inc. from 2005 to 2009 and Catalyst Health Solutions, Inc. from 2003 to 2012. Mr. Wolf graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, with honors, and from the MIT Sloan School Senior Executive Program. He has also been a fellow in the Society of Actuaries since 1979.

Dan Bunting

Dan Bunting joined AdaptHealth as Chief Operating Officer of Field Operations in 2020. Mr. Bunting most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for AeroCare Holidings, Inc. located in Orlando, FL, and was the CEO of evo Medical Solutions, in Adel, IA. With over three decades of leadership experience, Mr. Bunting has an extensive background in operations and strategy as he started his career in the HME industry working as a delivery technician while attending graduate school. Always looking for growth opportunities, Mr. Bunting went on to start a DME company in Iowa which eventually sold to Rotech Medical. Mr. Bunting holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from the University of Dubuque and an MBA in finance from the University of Iowa.

Dr. Susan Weaver - Chairman

Susan Weaver, M.D. has served on our board of directors since February 2018. She has served as the Chief Executive Officer of C 3 HealthcareRX, a healthcare and pharmacy services company, since July 2016, and as the Founder and President of Transformation Health Partners, LLC since September 2015. Dr. Weaver was the Chief Medical Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina from 2014 to 2015 after serving as the Vice President, Health Delivery Redesign from December 2012 to early 2014. Prior to joining Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Dr. Weaver was the Executive Vice President, Medical Affairs for WakeMed Health & Hospital from September 2011 to December 2012 and the Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs and Physician Practices from January 2009 to September 2011. Dr. Weaver also served as an Executive Director and Physician and founding member for Alliance Medical Ministry, a 501(c)(3) providing medical care to the working uninsured of Wake County, North Carolina. She holds an M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Psychology from Duke University.

Greg Belinfanti

Jason Clemens - CFO

Jason Clemens joined AdaptHealth from MEDNAX, Inc. ("MEDNAX") (NYSE: MD), a national provider of health solutions to hospitals, health systems, and healthcare facilities, where he served as Senior Vice President and Operations Chief Financial Officer. Over a nine-year career at MEDNAX, Mr. Clemens held positions of increasing responsibility in operations management and finance. Prior to joining MEDNAX, Mr. Clemens gained experience with the United States Army, supporting the Republic of Korea Army in Wonju, South Korea. He later served in progressive roles within operations management and finance at Accenture, Lennar, and Ryder. Mr. Clemens holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, and an M.S. in Finance and M.B.A. from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt.

Joel Mills - CHRO

Joel Mills has been the Chief People Officer of AdaptHealth since March 1, 2020. Prior to that, Mr. Mills was the President and CEO of Advanced Home Care from 1988 - 2020. During that time, Advanced Home Care grew to be one of the largest hospital affiliate home healthcare companies in the country. Mr. Mills has been involved in the home medical equipment industry for many years as a founding member and former chair of the American Association for Homecare. Additionally, he has served on many state and local non-profit boards related to health, education, and community philanthropy. Mr. Mills holds his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his Master in Business from Duke University.

Joshua Parnes - President

Mr. Parnes has served on our board of directors since the closing of the business combination. Mr. Parnes is an HME entrepreneur building Ocean Home Health from a startup into a tech focused HME provider and has over 16 years of operating experience in the home medical equipment industry. Mr. Parnes focuses on technology, strategy and operations.

Leila Vargas

Leila Vargas joined AdaptHealth in 2021 as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing with 15 years of HME industry experience. Ms. Vargas leads AdaptHealth's best-in-class Sales Team to drive sales growth and gain market share across the country through training, education, motivation, and strategy. In addition, she develops marketing programs to promote the AdaptHealth brand while facilitating sales through new tools and technology. Ms. Vargas launched her sales career with Lincare before moving on to AeroCare Holdings, Inc., where she was consistently a Top Ten Sales Representative. This success led to expanded leadership roles in sales, marketing, operations, and corporate training. Ms. Vargas earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with minors in Theater Performance and Psychology from Louisiana State University.

Richard Barasch - Chairman

Richard Barasch has served as Chairman of the Board since 2019 and has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare services, health insurance, and related industries. Mr. Barasch was Chief Executive Officer of Universal American Corp., a publicly-traded health insurance and services company focused on the senior market and government programs, from 1995 until Universal American's acquisition by WellCare Health Plans in May 2017. Mr. Barasch has developed an extensive network of contacts throughout the healthcare industry and speaks regularly at industry conferences as a healthcare services expert. He is currently on the Board of Directors of ELMC Risk Management Inc., HouseWorks, LLC and Quest Analytics. He is on the Board of Advisors of the Health Policy and Management program at the Columbia University School of Public Health, where he is also an Assistant Adjunct Professor, and the Brown School of Public Health. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Barasch graduated from Swarthmore College and Columbia University Law School.

Rodney Carson

With more than 20 years in healthcare operations leadership roles, Mr. Carson previously served as President and CEO of CCS Medical and as President of Operations for MDLIVE, a leading telehealth company. He started his career as a CPA and moved into finance and investment banking prior to entering the healthcare industry. Mr. Carson earned an MBA and bachelor's in business and accounting from Indiana University.

Shaw Rietkerk

Prior to joining Brightree in 2015, Mr. Rietkerk was Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations at M*Modal, a leading healthcare technology provider of advanced clinical documentation solutions.

Steve Griggs - CEO

Steve Griggs was named CEO of AdaptHealth in June 2021. He joined the Company as co-CEO following the 2021 acquisition of AeroCare. Mr. Griggs founded AeroCare in 2000 and led the organization as CEO. Prior to AeroCare, Mr. Griggs served as CFO, COO and President of Rotech Medical Corporation. He began his career as a CPA and later served as controller for a tourist and entertainment conglomerate in Orlando, FL, where he led their financial turnaround efforts. Mr. Griggs holds a B.S.B.A. in Business Management from East Tennessee State University and a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from University of Central Florida.

Ted Lundberg

He was also a member of KPMG's Board of Directors from 2011 to 2015 and chaired the Audit, Finance & Operations Committee. Mr. Connors has worked with numerous public and private companies, including Fortune 500 companies, as a senior audit and global lead partner. He also currently serves as an Advisor to Navigate Corporation, a management consulting firm headquartered in the Philadelphia area. Mr. Connors served 14 years on the board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), including as Chairman and President and is a NACD Board Leadership Fellow. Ms. Russalesi has been named Woman of the Year by VGM, the nation's largest post-acute healthcare member organization. Ms. Russalesi actively serves on the Health Care Compliance Association, the Regulatory Council of the American Association for Homecare, the Noridian DME MAC Provider Outreach and Education Advisory Group and the National Supplier Clearinghouse Advisory Committee.
