Tom Berg

Tom Berg established Berg's Landscaping in 1978 as a one-person, one-client landscape maintenance firm. By emphasizing service, his one maintenance client became the first design/build client. Ultimately, landscape maintenance was discontinued and a base of satisfied clients evolved and with the addition of a qualified staff, Berg's Landscaping became a competitive authority in the landscape design/build industry. In 2007, Jeff Svik and John Silvernale purchased Berg's Landscaping from Tom Berg. Both John and Jeff have been long-standing employees with the company. Jeff has a B.S. degree in horticulture from the University of Nebraska and John has a B.L.A. degree in landscape architecture from Michigan State University. John is also a registered landscape architect in the state of Washington.
