Cristiana Jones is a Florida licensed Real Estate Associate with Berkowitz Acquisitions. Cristiana specializes in buying and selling Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Retail Trade, Construction and Transportation businesses.
Cristiana started her career as a supply chain and operations specialist. She is an accomplished, results-driven professional culminating in more than twenty-five successful years at well-known national and international cosmetics companies. She worked in more than fifteen countries and resided in various regions of Europe and the United States. She is fluent in five languages.
Prior to joining Berkowitz Acquisitions, Cristiana was a franchise consultant, affiliated with the Franchise Brokers Association (FBA) and the International Franchise Professional Group (IFPG). Cristiana specialized in working with foreign entrepreneurs who pursued E-2 investor visas. As a result of her prior experience, she added value for her clients by providing business planning and guidance. in 2016, Cristiana joined the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) to continue enhance her skills and knowledge in business brokerage.
Cristiana has two engineering master's degrees, one from Ecole Centrale Paris and the other from Politecnico di Torino in Italy.

Dr. Barry J. Berkowitz is President of Berkowitz Acquisitions and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida. Through his corporate and entrepreneurial experience, he gained expertise to specialize in mergers and acquisitions in the fields of Technology, Manufacturing, Education and Healthcare Businesses, both locally and nationally, as well as internationally. As a result of his education and experience, he has earned the prestigious title of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), as well as title of Mergers and Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) from the M&A Source. The CBI and M&A designations are awarded by the IBBA and M&A Source, respectively, to their members that have met stringent educational requirements and ethical standards. The IBBA is the largest international, non-profit association operating exclusively for the benefit of individuals and firms engaged in business brokerage. The M&A Source is a sister organization of the IBBA whose professionals operate in the M&A lower-middle market. Successful completion of the CBI and M&AMI certification process significantly distinguishes M&A professionals within their field
In 2014, Barry received the honor of Fellow of the IBBA in recognition of his professionalism, achievements, and service to the industry. Barry also received the designation of Fellow of the M&A Source. In 2015, Barry was honored to receive the Tom West Award (for outstanding communication and promotion of the goals and ethics of business intermediary profession). In 2017, Barry was elected to the IBBA Board of Governors as the Chairman of their Affiliates Council. From 2017 through 2019 Barry served as Chair of Education. He served on Board of Governors of the IBBA from 2016 through 2021 and was appointed as the Chair of the IBBA for 2020. He has also served as an officer of Business Brokers of Florida.
During the early part of his career, Dr. Berkowitz was a scientist and then a corporate manager with Exxon. He published extensively and holds several patents. Dr. Berkowitz received his B.E.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering and Materials Sciences from Stony Brook University. He previously served as Chairman of the Advisory Board for the New Jersey Entrepreneurs Forum, sponsored by the NJ State Office on Science and Technology. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of various businesses.

Gabriel E. Vázquez Díaz is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from San Juan, Puerto Rico and a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate in the State of Florida at Berkowitz Acquisitions. His career in sales, management, and consulting has provided him with the experience to specialize in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in the distribution and wholesale industries, with a specific focus in the medical and healthcare sector.
As a CPA and a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), he has proven to meet the rigorous educational, experience, and ethical requirements to provide safe and high-quality service to the public, significantly distinguishing him within the M&A field. The IBBA is the largest international non-profit association operating exclusively for the professional development and standards of excellence for individuals and firms engaged in business brokerage and mergers and acquisitions.
Throughout his career, Mr. Vázquez earned multiple awards and recognitions as a high performer in several sales, management, and consulting positions in various companies such as Cutco Corporation, Vector Marketing, and former BDO Puerto Rico.
Mr. Vázquez earned his Bachelor's Degree in accounting and marketing from the AACSB Accredited College of Business Administration of the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer licensed by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, who is passionate about the scientific background of physical training and of the Fitness and Wellness industry.
He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and has presence in both Florida and Puerto Rico.
