Ben Bisconti

Ben is a private investor and advises and supports a range of not-for-profit organizations with a focus on K-12 education and college access programs. Ben was a Managing Director and General Partner at Accel-KKR, a private equity fund, from 2003 to 2014, where he led control investments in companies across a variety of technology segments, including enterprise software, cloud computing, internet services and Software as a Service. Prior to Accel-KKR, Ben assisted a wide range of technology companies raise capital and pursue M&A, including a role as a global group head in the Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group and as a Managing Director in the Technology Group at Robertson Stephens. Ben earned an AB from Harvard College in 1990 and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 1994. Ben is a Trustee of Eastside College Preparatory School and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula and is a former Trustee and Board Chair of The Phillips Brooks School and also Menlo School, where he was the Chair of the Finance and Investment Committee. Ben is a mentor with the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University. He also serves as a member of the Dean's Leadership Council at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Catherine Nguyen

Catherine Nguyen is the Managing Director of Operations at Berkeley Endowment Management Company and joined in 2017. Prior to joining BEMCO, Catherine spent four years at Top Tier Capital Partners, LLC, a venture capital focused fund of funds, where she most recently served as Fund Controller. Previously, she was a Senior Associate in KPMG LLP's audit practice, working primarily in commercial banking. Catherine earned a B.A. in Business Economics with an Accounting Emphasis from the University of California Santa Barbara. She is a CFA charterholder and Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Collette Chilton

Collette Chilton is the Chief Investment Officer for the Williams College endowment. She is responsible for the investment of approximately $3 billion in assets. Prior to joining Williams in 2006, she served as the Chief Investment Officer for Lucent Technologies from 1998 to 2006. In that role, she was responsible for the investment and oversight of approximately $40 billion in retirement-related assets for the company. Prior to that, Ms. Chilton was the Chief Investment Officer of the $30 billion Pension Reserves Investment Management ("PRIM") Board. Prior to that, she was in investment banking with The First National Bank of Boston and Citicorp Investment Bank. In addition to her role on the BEMCO board, she serves on the board of The Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and also serves on the investment committee for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston. She is also an Investor in Residence in the Department of Economics at UCLA. Ms. Chilton graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Economy of Natural Resources. She received a Master's of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Cyrus Hadidi

Cyrus Hadidi founded Arts and Sciences Investment Management, and serves as the Firm's Chief Investment Officer. Prior to founding Arts & Sciences, Hadidi worked at JMB Capital Partners from 2002 to 2016, where he was a Partner and Portfolio Manager. After graduating from Cal and working as an investment banker with Salomon Brothers, he attended Harvard Business School, where he received the distinction of Baker Scholar and the John L. Loeb Award in Finance. In addition to his professional responsibilities at Arts and Sciences, he is active in the philanthropic community in California. He is focused on improving public education, and is on the board of the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools and the Advisory Board for College Match, a program that helps prepare gifted and talented students from low-income areas to both attend and succeed at high-caliber colleges and universities. David McAuliffe is the President and Chief Investment Officer of the Berkeley Endowment Management Company. Prior to BEMCO, David spent eleven years as a Senior Investment Officer with the University of Washington Investment Management Company (UWINCO), with portfolio responsibilities across multiple asset classes. He was also formerly a Managing Director and head of information technology investment banking at Cascadia Capital, LLC and began his career as a consultant at Deloitte Consulting Group, focused on corporate strategy and operations projects. Other experiences include private equity and corporate development roles. David sits on the investment committee of the Seattle Art Museum. He graduated with a BA degree in Economics from Carleton College, an MA degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and an MBA degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Diana Strandberg

Diana Strandberg is a Senior Vice President & Director of International Equity at Dodge and Cox, an investment management firm in San Francisco. She has been with the Diana currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Dodge and Cox. She is the Chair of the firm's International Equity Investment Committee, and is a member of the Global and the Emerging Markets Equity Investment committees. Diana also serves on the Board for 20-20 Investment Association; the Advisory Board of the Smithsonian; and the National Board of Summer Search, a youth mentoring organization. Diana served as a UC Berkeley Foundation Trustee for twelve years. During her tenure as a Trustee, she chaired the Trusts and Annuities Subcommittee. In 2001, the Strandbergs began funding graduate fellowships at UC Berkeley in Economics, and in 2016 they established The Economics Forward Fund, an innovative fund that allows the department chair to address areas of critical need or opportunity. The Strandberg family gift supported research across campus on effective approaches and solutions to issues of gender equity. In addition to supporting faculty and student research, the fund supported the first Diversity Summit in Economics, several student groups, and the launch of the Women in Leadership program. John R. Jenks

John R. Jenks retired in 2017 from his position as Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer of the James Irvine Foundation. During his 15 years serving as CIO for the Foundation's $2.1 billion endowment, Jenks was responsible for strategy and execution resulting in top decile returns. Jenks was a member of the executive leadership team for the Foundation and also oversaw Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology and Operations, while providing policy input to the strategic grant making of the Foundation. He was also responsible for all financial, tax and risk management of the Foundation. Prior to joining the James Irvine Foundation, Jenks was the Chief Investment Officer for the State of Alaska where he managed 20 funds and endowments with over $20 billion in assets. Jenks spent over 10 years in this organization in various investment officer roles, managing real estate, private equity, and fixed income portfolios. Prior to his decade of service to the State of Alaska, Jenks was the Deputy Treasurer for the City of Juneau. He is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research as well as a member of the Investment Committee of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Jenks graduated from Washington State University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Finance and obtained his Master of Accounting there in 1984. He is a CFA Charterholder, and has previously held positions on various boards ranging from the Foundation Finance Officers Group and Contra Costa Crisis Center to the Southeast Alaska Boy Scout Council. Jenks is currently a member of the investment committee of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

Nadine M. Tang

Nadine M. Tang is a licensed clinical social worker who has served the Bay Area for over 30 years. As an associate clinical professor in the Department of Psychology at UC Berkeley, she provides clinical supervision to pre-doctoral students in the Psychology Clinic. She is an adjunct professor in the Psychology Dept at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Ms. Tang has lectured extensively on the role of culture and diversity in psychology, child-rearing, and the provision of mental health services, publishing several papers on these topics. From 1976-1986, she worked as a social worker in the Psychiatry Department of University Health Services on the Berkeley campus where she founded and directed the Immigrant and Refugee Student Program. From 1992-2004, she was a psychotherapist and supervisor at Mills College's Counseling and Psychological Services. Ms. Tang became an elected member of the Board of Trustees of the UC Berkeley Foundation in 1992. From 2001-03, she served as chairman of the board and is a trustee emerita, serving on the Finance and Administration Committee. She led the Asian Leadership conferences held from 1995-2001 and was co-chair of Berkeley's Campaign for the New Century, which concluded in 2001 and raised $1.4 billion. Ms. Tang has served on multiple task forces on campus, including the Task Force on Intercollegiate Athletics and the Alumni Engagement Task Force. Currently, she serves on the Large Fundraising Projects Committee. Ms. Tang is a Berkeley Fellow and a member of the Order of the Golden Bear. She has received the Chancellor's Award for her leadership and her service to Berkeley. Ms. Tang received her B.A. in psychology from Boston University in 1971 and her M.S.W. from UC Berkeley in 1975.

Robert O'Donnell was elected chair of the Berkeley Endowment Management Company (BEMCO) in 2019. Bob has been a member of the BEMCO Board since 2012 and a Trustee since 1996. Bob served as chair of the Board of Trustees from 2005-2007. Bob currently serves as Finance Chair for the San Francisco Symphony and is an Overseer of the Hoover Institution. Now retired, Bob spent 40 years at Capital Group/American Funds where he was an equity portfolio manager and director of the firm. Bob graduated summa cum laude from UC Berkeley, where he also obtained his MBA. He also holds an MLA degree from Stanford University and is a CPA and CFA. Bob is a recipient of the Chancellor's Award and the 2011 Business Leader of the Year from the Haas School of Business. He and his wife, Sue, are Builders of Berkeley.

Steve Algert

Prior to joining the Getty, Steve was employed by the Treasurer's Office of the Regents of the University of California, managing investments for the pension plan and endowment. Prior to that, he was employed in the fund of hedge funds group at Citigroup Alternative Investments and prior to Citigroup, he was employed in fixed income research and risk management at BARRA. Steve holds a Master's degree in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
