Colin McLeod heads up the property management and asset management division for the Betz Companies. In this role, he has been responsible for the Betz portfolio of properties that included over 190,000 square feet of Office, 213,000 square feet of Retail and 597,000 square feet of Industrial Warehouse and Service Centers. Asset Management responsibilities also included the acquisition, renovation (in excess of $13 million), operation and subsequent disposition of 31 apartment complexes valued in excess of $125 million containing over 5,000 units in Houston and Dallas., Texas. Colin graduated from Texas A&M University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. After graduation, he became a Vice President for Gibraltar Savings/First Nationwide Bank where he supervised personnel in administering a commercial loan and real estate owned portfolio in excess of $3 billion. Additional responsibilities included managing seven statewide residential construction lending teams in the State of Texas.

Raymond R. Betz has been in the commercial real estate investment business since 1976. Mr. Betz has sponsored over 80 commercial real estate investment and development partnerships representing real estate investments in excess of $225 million. He is considered an expert in the commercial real estate market in Houston, Texas and has expanded his company's activities to include full-service benefits of real estate investment sponsorship, development, brokerage, leasing, property management, construction, and consulting services. Mr. Betz is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker. Mr. Betz's educational background includes a Master of Science degree in Industrial Administration from the Krannert School, Purdue University, in 1967, and he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1966. Prior to moving to Houston in 1970, Mr. Betz also took advanced studies at the University of Denver. Mr. Betz served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Corp of Engineers at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and in Long Binh, Vietnam, in the 1968-1969 period. After Vietnam, Mr. Betz came to Houston in 1970 with the international accounting and consulting firm of Touche Ross & Company (Deloitte Touche) where he became a Certified Public Accountant and served as a Management Consultant until forming his company in 1976. Mr. Betz has been active as a real estate investor and developer for over twenty years and has taken a leadership role in important real estate and business issues including the 1993 Citizens for a Better Houston campaign and is active on the Board of Governors for the Texans for Lawsuit Reform effort in Texas. Mr. Betz serves and is active on the Board of Trustees of the University of Missouri at Rolla and has recently been recognized for his career achievement as one of the Outstanding Alumni of the University of Missouri at Rolla. He is a Trustee of the Houston Realty Breakfast Club and also serves as a board member of Trees of Houston, Inc. He is a member of the Houston Board of Realtors, the Greater Houston Builders Association, West Houston Association, Greater Houston Partnership, the "C" Club, Houston Real Estate Council, Urban Land Institute and other Houston area Chambers of Commerce and real estate organizations. Mr. Betz is a frequent speaker on the subject of real estate. Groups he has addressed included CCIM (1994, 1995, and 1996 land Forecast Competition Winner), O'Connor & Associates, and other private organizations and clubs. Ron Dagley heads up the commercial land investment division of The Betz Companies. He is responsible for managing and marketing property for over 30 partnerships with property value in excess of $225 million in the Houston area. He has a vast experience in commercial real estate marketing, development and management beginning in 1972 and with The Betz Companies since March of 1992. Recent transactions have involved Transwestern Commercial, Moody Rambin, Fuller Commercial, Trend Development, Read/King, Yancey Hausman, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and various apartment, hotel and retail developers. Ron graduated in 1970 from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Behavioral Management Science. After two years working with an oil related service company, he worked for twenty years with a diversified real estate development, construction and brokerage company performing responsibilities including project manager, commercial and residential brokerage and property management. A native Texan, Ron has lived in the Houston area since 1964. He currently lives in the west Houston/Katy area where he and his wife of forty years raised three children and are in the process of spoiling their eleven grand children. Ron is an avid golfer and enjoys time with his family and fishing. He is an active member of his church where her serves as a small group leader. He is active member of The Houston Board of Realtors, the West Houston Association, the North Houston Association and several local chambers.
