Dr. Benjamin R. Brashear

Benjamin Brashear, M.D., is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, and is the Physician-owner of Brashear Family Medical (BFM). Dr. Brashear founded BFM in 2007, and he is passionate about providing excellent Primary Care to his patients. He also has additional training in Hospice and Palliative Care, and was board certified in Hospice in 2010. He has served as a Medical Staff officer at Texas Health Kaufman for over 15 years, and is currently the President of the THK Medical Board. Since 2008, he has also served as Medical Director of several local skilled nursing facilities in and around the Kaufman area. He continues to serve as a board member of the Kaufman Economic Development Corporation, and remains an active participant in the Kaufman community. Dr. Brashear received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, his Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX, and completed his Family Medicine residency at McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation (now Waco Family Medicine Institute) in Waco, TX. In his free time, Dr. Brashear enjoys traveling and spending time with his two adult children.

Erika Goff

Erika Goff, APRN, FNP-BC, NP-C, is the BFM aesthetics expert, and she has extensive experience in Advanced Aesthetic Procedures. Originally from Connecticut, Ms. Goff served in the US Army in Iraq and Afghanistan; from there she went on to attain multiple degrees from Middlesex Community College, University of Saint Joseph, and Yale University. After over 10 years as an Emergency Room R.N., she completed her MSN at Harding University. She is double-board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Goff is recognized as a trainer and expert in injectable aesthetics throughout DFW, and she has multiple celebrity clientele. In her free time, Erika enjoys traveling, rowing and spending time with her daughter.

Rebecca Wolfe

Rebecca Wolfe, APRN, FNP-C, is a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner at Brashear Family Medical. She specializes in Primary Care/Family Medicine for all ages, and she has been a Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner for a combined 20 years. Ms. Wolfe is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and she received her BSN through Baylor University (sic ‘em bears!) and her MSN through Texas Woman's University. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys reading, attending church at CLife Kaufman, and spending time with her husband and four kids.

Warren Cave

Warren Cave, APRN, FNP-C, is a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner at Brashear Family Medical. Mr. Cave specializes in Family Practice and also Geriatric/Skilled Nursing Healthcare, and he has extensive training in Wound care and Diabetes Management. He is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and he received his Masters of Science in Nursing through the University of Texas at Tyler. In his free time, Mr. Cave enjoys traveling, hiking and four-wheeling with his friends, and spending time with his two grown children.
