The Behavioral Health Risk Assessment (BHRA) is similar in concept to the widely-used Health Risk Assessment (HRA). But, whereas the HRA primarily assesses and promotes physical health, the BHRA assesses and promotes behavioral health and emotional well-being. The BHRA incorporates the behavioral change model known as SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment). SBIRT is a highly validated, evidenced-based method which utilizes motivational interviewing techniques and change talk to help you effect positive behavioral change... To commence the assessment process using the BHRA, you will answer a 20 question pre-screen that takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. You can complete this screening in the privacy of your own home, and the results will be transmitted electronically to your coach/counselor.
