Chad Kurdi

Chad Kurdi is our lead electrical engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the electrical industry. He brings in-depth understanding of electrical power systems, lighting systems, technology systems, and safety and security systems to each project. Over the years, he has worked as an electrical engineer, electrician and electrical trainer. His electrical engineering experience includes engineering, designing, and specifying and analyzing electrical and low-voltage systems for different building types and occupancies. His projects have included police stations, fire stations, government buildings, jails, senior living, memory care living, student housing, affordable living, historic buildings, hospitals, data centers, sport arenas, water/wastewater treatment plants and commercial buildings. Chad is a licensed Mater Electrician in Minnesota and is currently serving on the Minnesota Board of Electricity, a position appointed by the governor of Minnesota. He is an active member in IEEE, IAEI, and MEA.

Jackie Wilcox

Jackie Wilcox has over a decade of experience leading and designing a wide range of project types, with a dedicated focus on creating high performing interior environments. As Director of Interior Design, she is embedded in the design and building process from concept to completion, ensuring the overall vision is realized and omnipresent in every detail. Spanning her professional education to career practice, Jackie is fascinated by the effect interior space has on culture, occupant mood, and wellbeing. Jim Hansing

Jim Hansing has 30 years of experience in architecture, construction administration and project management on base building and interior construction projects. His project experience is primarily in housing, office, education and government building types. He has a demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of project design and documentation from schematic design to project closeout.

Joe Brown

Joe Brown brings over 12 years of architectural experience with a specialization in adaptive reuse. His projects include the award-winning Custom House and A-Mill Artist Lofts with Joe working extensively with teams on a variety of housing types ranging from affordable, to market-rate, to adaptive reuse, to student across the country, focusing on creating efficient, dynamic, livable spaces. As an architect, Joe brings his strong design skills, knowledge of LEED standards, attention to detail, and unique approach to every project.

Kyle Olson

Kyle Olson is responsible for performing and directing others in the design, evaluation, and retrofit of metal, concrete, masonry, and wood structures. He's experienced in the preparation of engineering studies, design documents, building and support structure layouts, engineering and construction cost estimates, and construction documents. Kyle is also responsible for supervision of design personnel, final project checking, and communication with clients pertaining to design and construction issues.

Lionel Dayton

Lionel Dayton has completed major design projects using post-tensioned concrete, precast concrete, cold-formed steel, composite beam and joists, heavy timber, and conventional wood framing materials. Lionel has been a structural project manager and engineer of record on projects of variable size, from single-family home renovations to $115 million mixed-use building complexes. He also has an extensive background in fastener production, testing, and design for all connection applications. Lionel has a strong background in Intellectual Property development (e.g. eight patents) for product and system development, integrated project delivery, value engineering, cast-in-place concrete structures, cold-formed steel design, and historic building research and restoration. He has completed major design projects using post-tensioned concrete, precast concrete, cold-formed steel, composite beam and joists, heavy timber, and conventional wood framing materials.

Mark Manetti

Mark Manetti has over 25 years of experience managing projects for different government agencies. He has worked on multiple public facilities including public safety, library, recreation centers. In addition, many of the projects Mark has developed have had historic significance and jurisdictional purview through local historic boards and regional groups such as the District historic preservation office (HPO) the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), and the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC). Mark works closely with his clients to document their standard workflows and to translate those into an appropriate building program. Mark is an advocate for resiliency in government projects and has in-depth knowledge of applying sustainable standards to public facilities. Mark approaches projects with focus and a sense of urgency that promotes decision making and moves schedules forward. Areas of Expertise County Offices Education/Library Fire/EMS Planning & Studies Mark is an architect with over 30 years of experience in design, implementation, and construction of affordable housing and other project types. His background includes new construction and renovation of multi-family housing, long-term care facilities, religious facilities, and various governmental and institutional and educational buildings including science and forensic laboratories. Mark has a broad range of skills and responsibilities including construction administration, architectural design, construction technology, and specification writing. With a focus on construction administration, Mark values the importance of integrating the client's project and program throughout the construction process with effective problem-solving and coordination.
