Most people who meet me know me as a husband and father of two daughters. I'm a "dance dad" and softball coach, who likes to work hard fighting for my clients. I also love to exercise. I started going to CrossFit in March of 2015 and have lost over 70 pounds. I also happen to be a highly reviewed attorney in the area, as well as the recipient of several honors, including being named a "Rising Star" attorney by Illinois Super Lawyers, a designation limited to less than 2.5% of lawyers under 40 years of age in the State of Illinois and as an "Emerging Lawyer" by Leading Lawyers. Recently our firm was named by U.S News & World Report as one of the best law firms of 2019. I have spent my career practicing law in courtrooms and Illinois Workers' Compensation settings throughout Illinois, including Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, Will and many more counties. When I am not busy fighting for the right of my clients, you can usually find me supporting my daughters at a dance competition, on the softball field coaching. I love coaching softball as it gives me the opportunity to teach the girls the proper way to play the game as well as pass on my knowledge as a former collegiate baseball player at North Central College, Go Cardinals! If I am not doing one of the above, you can find me working hard at the gym. I am currently writing a book about Workers' Compensation, which covers three easy ways to lose your case before it begins. I have been invited to present a legal conferences in the area. The most recent was hosted by Midwest Orthopedics at Rush University, where I discussed how to litigate a Workers' Compensation claim from the injured worker's perspective. I also have a typical origin story as an attorney. I am a 2008 graduate from Hamline University School of Law. Since that time my practice area has been exclusively Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury. I concentrate my practice on representing those who are injured by others. Bryan has made his mark early with Block, Klukas, Manzella & Shell, where he has won many cases at the Arbitration and Commission levels. Bryan has won his most recent commission case awarding an extension of a spinal fusion in a highly disputed case where an employee suffered an aggravation of his underlying condition. The award also included years of back pay.
