Alea Burner is a passionate advocate for workers' rights and civil rights, dedicated to holding employers and institutions accountable for unlawful practices. She has built her career representing employees facing workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination, as well as individuals fighting for justice in civil rights matters. Through zealous and thorough representation, Alea has developed a deep understanding of employment law and civil rights litigation, working tirelessly to level the playing field for those facing systemic injustices.
She earned her degree in economics and political science from Western Washington University, equipping her with a strong foundation for analyzing workplace power dynamics, economic inequality, and institutional misconduct. Motivated by her passion for justice, she attended Seattle University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and quickly found her calling in employment law.
Alea's experience representing both employees and employers gives her a unique, strategic perspective on how businesses and institutions operate internally. Having seen firsthand how companies defend against employment and civil rights claims, she uses that insight to anticipate legal strategies and aggressively advocate for her clients. Outside of her legal work, Alea enjoys hand-building ceramics, visiting museums, and spending time with her beloved cat, Basil, and dog, T-Bone.

The firm has a proven track record of securing multi-million-dollar recoveries in complex civil litigation, including class actions in both state and federal courts.
Beyond the courtroom, Scott is a sought-after legal educator, frequently lecturing at legal seminars and contributing to legal publications. He has also served as an Instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), where he has trained lawyers in trial advocacy and litigation strategy.
