Andrew Antidormi, Institutional Sales, joined Bloom Burton with over 10 years of commercial pharmaceutical experience, most recently with Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he was a top performing member of their Specialty and Institutional Sales team. Prior to spending six years at BMS, he was a marketing intern and sales representative at Bayer Healthcare. In addition to his focus in cardiology, Andrew has successfully sold products in oncology, hematology, rheumatology, diabetes, anti-infectives and women's health. Andrew was also the co-founder of a start-up venture with Canadian distribution rights to the Cryocabin, a tech-based wellness and recovery product which was featured on the Dragons Den.

Antonia Borovina is an Analyst on the equity research team where she researches publicly traded healthcare companies, having first joined the team as an Associate in March 2016. Antonia has been with Bloom Burton. since February 2014 and was previously an Associate on the investment banking team. Prior to joining Bloom Burton, Antonia gained business development experience while working for GeneYouIn, a direct-to-consumer genetic testing startup.
Antonia currently serves on the Emerging Companies Advisory Board of BIOTECanada, the national biotechnology industry association.

Dr. Balboni is a partner, senior advisor and member of the Board of Directors of Bloom Burton & Co.
Armand acts as Bloom Burton's senior most advisor on scientific, regulatory and medical affairs for our incubated companies and clients. He recently completed a period of active duty in the U.S. Army as the Deputy Director, Office of Regulated Activities (ORA) and senior reviewer on their clinical pharmacovigilance team. ORA and its 80-person team provide clinical and regulatory oversight and advisement for more than 100 FDA clinical trials and all associated regulatory filings and meeting necessary for approval. Special emphasis was placed on regulatory filings (EUAs, meetings, pre-sub filings etc.) for military relevant products across all therapeutic areas including vaccines, devices, biologics, and small molecule drugs.
Dr. Balboni completed a DoD fellowship at the U.S. FDA, CDER, Division of Anti-infective Products, and in the Office of the Commissioner and the Office of Counterterrorism and Emerging Threats (OCET). Claudia Hui is an Associate at Bloom Burton, and joined as an Analyst in 2015. Claudia's expertise helps the Bloom Burton team to identify and unlock value in healthcare companies. Her current role involves conducting technical (scientific, clinical, regulatory) and commercial due diligence and strategy consulting. Claudia has provided opportunity assessments and specialized scientific and market strategies for companies across all stages of development, with a particular focus and interest in academic, early stage biotechnology and digital health companies.

David Martin serves as the Managing Director and Head of Equity Research of Bloom Burton. By seeking out and researching publicly traded healthcare and emerging biotechnology companies, he identifies opportunities that are differentiated and undervalued, thereby providing for Bloom Burton's clients, investment ideas with the potential for substantial returns.
David also serves on the Board of Directors of The NanoMedicines Innovation Network (NMIN).
Before joining Bloom Burton, David most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations at a high growth medical device company. Earlier in his career, he led the Healthcare Equity Research team at one of Canada's largest independent investment dealers, and he has also worked in the clinical diagnostics industry.
David received a Ph.D. Biochemistry from the University of Western Ontario for oncology research which he conducted at the London Regional Cancer Centre and at the Princess Margaret Hospital. He also holds a MBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Evelyn Pau, Vice President, Investment Banking and Recruiting Lead joined Bloom Burton as an Analyst in November 2012. At Bloom Burton, her responsibilities include monetization planning, strategy consulting, and scientific, clinical and medical due diligence for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare companies. Evelyn also heads Bloom Burton's recruiting and talent management efforts as the Recruiting Lead.
Prior to joining Bloom Burton, Evelyn was a business development analyst at Tornado Medical Systems (now Tornado Spectral Systems) and a research fellow at SECOR Consulting (now KPMG). James Rowland, Managing Director, Investment Banking, joined Bloom Burton in November 2012 and is responsible for raising equity and debt capital, advising issuers on capital markets strategy as well as mergers and acquisitions in both the public and private markets. James has transactional experience across several healthcare industry verticals, including biotechnology, healthcare services, life science tools and services, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. James also has notable experience in dual-listed public offerings in addition to other complex cross-border transactions.

Jennifer has over 15 years experience in Equity Capital Markets. Her last position was as Syndication Manager at Velocity Trade Capital, where she played a key role in Velocity's participation as a selling group member in bought and marketed deals. Jolyon Burton is a co-founder of Bloom Burton & Co. and serves as the firm's President and Head of Investment Banking.
As trusted advisors to boards of directors, management teams, and professional and strategic investors, Jolyon and his team help structure and execute financial and capital markets strategies, mergers and acquisitions or other partnering transactions. The team has been directly involved in financings of over $3 billion as well as mergers and acquisitions transactions valued at more than $2 billion.
In the role immediately preceding the co-founding of Bloom Burton, Jolyon served as the Head of Healthcare & Biotechnology Investment Banking at an independent investment dealer. Jolyon started his career in roles that helped internationally focused growth companies, both at Export Development Canada and at Global Affairs Canada.

Mena Abdel-Nour is an Analyst at Bloom Burton and joined in August 2019. Mena's role is to provide scientific due diligence of life science and healthcare companies, as well as supporting the growth and monetization of life science technology companies in the Canadian healthcare ecosystem.
Prior to joining Bloom Burton, Mena has pursued the commercialization and development of novel therapeutics for inflammatory disease based on his research published in the journal, Science, and has supported entrepreneurial healthcare opportunities through the Translational Research Program at the University of Toronto. Mena also brings experience performing due diligence for the Maple Leaf Angels and York Angels investing groups.

Michael Brown is CEO of Bloom Burton Investment Group and manages the various direct investing portfolios.
Prior to joining BBIG, Michael founded Scale Capital Management, an incubator firm for emerging alternative asset managers. Michael has spent over 20 years in the Canadian capital markets, primarily on the buy-side. He began his career on the Scotia Capital Markets proprietary equity desk, before joining with other Scotia veterans to start one of Canada's first hedge funds, Enterprise Capital Management.

Philip Ostrowski joined Bloom Burton as an analyst in February 2021. Prior to joining Bloom Burton, Philip worked as a consultant in the life sciences industry in the U.S. and was also the co-founder of a bioinformatics-focused biotechnology start-up.
Philip holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto with a focus on immunology, rare immune disorders, and cell biology, and completed his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Toronto.
Prasath Pandurangan joined Bloom Burton as an Associate in equity research in March 2017, where he focuses on listed Canadian healthcare companies. He has been working with the equity research team as a consultant since October 2016 when he was instrumental in expanding research coverage in the Canadian specialty pharmaceutical space. Previously, as Senior Research Analyst (Financial Research) with Crisil Global Research & Analytics, he was associated with the #1 ranked (Institutional Investor) global specialty pharmaceuticals team at Alliance Bernstein.
