Anna Wielgosz

Anna Wielgosz has been working in local public health in Massachusetts for almost 10 years managing urgent outbreak investigations, designing and implementing databases for the analysis of health problems, designing instruments for the collection of surveillance information and data, and conducting program planning and evaluation. She has worked closely with partners and stakeholders to incorporate the use of data and systems in public health practice to reflect the diversity and underlying inequities in communities. Anna has an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University and a B.A. in Women's and Gender Studies from Macalester College.​

Ava de Bruin

Ava de Bruin is passionate about Public Health and Reproductive Justice. Ava formerly worked in youth political activism, initiating and executing a nonpartisan effort to mobilize young voters during the 2020 presidential election. She has also spent four years preparing students for international service through work with Elon University's Peace Corps Prep Program. Ava is completing her BA in Public Health and Economics at Elon University. In addition to her academic and consulting work, she trains year-round on a Division I National Champion Collegiate Dance Team.

Bryan Murphy-Eustis - Founder

Bryan Murphy-Eustis has spent over 20 years supporting both public and private health care organizations in an effort to strengthen their strategy, operational and programmatic systems, and public health preparedness and planning capabilities. Bryan received his Master's in Public Health from Boston University and his Master's in Business Administration from Oxford University. He is deeply committed to helping to build resiliency and capacity in local, state, and international health organizations.

Catherine Delano

Catherine Delano is a public health social worker with over 7 years of experience focused on youth and substance use/misuse prevention and intervention. She has worked with both state and local public health departments and has particular interest and experience in grant writing and policy research and development. Catherine holds a dual masters in social work and public health from Boston University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). In addition to her formal work, Catherine volunteers for The Child is Innocent, an NGO which supports children's education and leadership development in post-conflict Northern Uganda.

Elizabeth Ferrara

Elizabeth Ferrara is a public health professional with experience working in addressing community health and organization, homlessness, disparities in racial health data, and COVID-19 state policy research. Her work and education are rooted in the decolonization of data, critical analysis, community building, and their translation into policy and law. Elizabeth holds a Bachelors of Science in Public Health from the University of Arizona Honors College as well as a Masters of Public Health in Health Policy and Law from Boston University School of Public Health. ​

Ingrid Maurice

Ingrid Maurice is a public health leader who is an expert in preparedness strategy, workforce development for public health emergencies, international response and recovery strategy, and non-profit post-recovery planning. Having worked in city government, the non-profit/NGO space, and international response, the foundation of her work ethic is research and knowledge sharing across disciplines and borders. She holds a Bachelors in History of Science from Harvard, a Masters in Biomedical Science from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (PKA The Commonwealth Medical College), and a Masters in Public Health from The New York Medical College.

Jessica Sorcher

Jessica Sorcher is a certified health education specialist with experience in public health non-profit work and health promotion research. Her community health educational and professional experiences have largely focused on facilitating health behavior change and improving adolescent mental health. Advancing health equity underlies all of her past and current pursuits. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Kinesiology and Health from Miami University (Ohio). ​

Joseph Mando

​Joe Mando is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt improvement expert with more than 20 years of experience in strengthening health systems and with a strong record of supporting local and state public health departments. His experience extends to supporting Medicare and Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations to improve their clinical outcomes and maximize their pay-for-performance revenue. In addition to his domestic experience, Joe has a wealth of global health experience, most of which he earned while supporting the Federal U. S. Government to improve the quality of HIV care in developing countries. He has a Master's degree in Health Policy.

Karen Contador

Karen Contador has 7 years of public health experience working internationally and domestically in both private and public sectors. She has worked with policymakers and agencies from over 50 countries particularly in strengthening health systems through program management, capacity building, improving the quality of health services, and addressing opportunities in organizational structure. She holds a B.S. in Human Physiology from Boston University and is completing her MPH in Health Policy and Law and Global Health. In addition to English she speaks fluent Spanish and is conversational in French and Portuguese.​

Kelley Hiland

Kelley Hiland is a Public Health Nurse with 10 plus years working with local public health and community-based healthcare entities. She is competent in local, state, and federal public health services and mandates, as well as, formulating community-wide risk-reduction measures using epidemiological and surveillance trend data. Kelley has extensive experience planning, implementing and managing scalable clinical programming for at-risk populations to reduce costly outcomes and improve continuity of quality care. Kelley is a strong advocate for employing upstream public health policy interventions and disrupting health inequities at the root cause. ​

Meghan Russell

​Meghan Russell comes to BME strategies with experience in strategic planning, project management, food systems, and public health advocacy. Her public health work has focused on addressing social determinants of health and strengthening the local public health infrastructure in Massachusetts. Meghan enjoys bringing diverse groups of people together to work across systems, improving efficiency and advancing equity and sustainability. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in History and Spanish from Penn State University and a Master of Liberal Arts in Food Policy from Boston University.

Robert Tweedie

Robert Tweedie is passionate about supporting the finance and operational systems of organizations to allow them to focus on and enhance their core business activities. Robert specializes in full-serve bookkeeping and financial analyses. Prior to this, he was an electrical engineering design consultant for 33 years. He holds a B.S. from University of Connecticut and a M.S. from Northeastern University.

Robin Wilcox

Robin Wilcox's career has been dedicated to creating healthy communities. She has guided and supported community engagement, community health assessments, and community and healthcare consensus. As Chief Program Officer of the Public Health Accreditation Board for 13 years, she directed public health department accreditation. Serving in a state health department for 15 years, she held the positions of Director, Office of Policy, Planning, and Evaluation and of Deputy Secretary for Community Health. Robin is a strong advocate for community-based capacity building and community-driven solutions.
