Bob Landry

Over 30 years ago, Bob Landry came to BMR fresh out of college. Today, he's an invaluable member of our team, a senior technician known for his ability to manage projects with minimal assistance. Thanks to his experience with numerous structure types, Bob is up for any challenge.

Drew Coldwell

Drew joined BMR Structural Engineering as a civil engineering graduate from the University of New Brunswick in 2023. As a Structural Engineer-in-Training in the province of Nova Scotia, Drew will be working with our experienced team of professionals to develop his skills and experience on a diverse range of challenging projects.

Ivor MacDonald

As a Senior Structural Engineer with 15 years of diverse structural experience, Ivor MacDonald has successfully lead numerous high-profile assignments throughout Atlantic Canada. Ivor is the President of BMR Structural Engineering and has been the lead structural engineer on numerous challenging projects including schools, nursing homes, multi-unit residential buildings, university, and college buildings. Ivor has extensive experience in renovation and restoration of existing structures and has carried out the rehabilitation design for numerous existing buildings. Ivor also leads our team in the structural design of cladding systems for new and existing buildings.

Jason Landry

Jason joined BMR Structural Engineering in 2021 and immediately fit in as a valued member of the team. A Certified Engineering Technologist and NSCC graduate with six years in the industry, Jason's experience also includes ISO quality system management in an engineering environment. Focused on both new construction and renovations, Jason has honed his considerable skills on a wide range of projects including public schools, arenas, healthcare facilities, wharves, churches, multi-unit residential buildings, and much more.

John Richardson

Senior Structural Engineer John Richardson has been a driving force behind numerous schools, university and college buildings, as well as hospitals, nursing homes and recreational buildings. In his more than 37 years with BMR, John's experience has covered virtually all structure types, including steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and tilt-up panels. As a LEED® Accredited Professional, John brings to every project an understanding of green building practices and principles that meet the LEED internationally accepted benchmark for the design and construction of high performance green buildings.

Justin Davis

Having joined our firm as an NSCC graduate nearly 20 years ago, Justin Davis has developed into a highly valued member of our technical team that can readily lead complex projects. His experience includes work on all types of structures including schools, hospitals, nursing homes, commercial complexes, and much more. In addition, Justin is now among our firm's specialists in structural restoration and rehabilitation of existing buildings.

Kristy Bungay

BMR Structural Engineering welcomed Kristy to the team in 2023 and she's fit right in from day one. Kristy has extensive experience in real estate and office administration and is relied upon for all bookkeeping, payroll, purchasing, and other administrative duties that keep the office running smoothly. Kristy is quickly becoming a valued member of the team and we fully expect she will be a key part of the company's success for many years to come.

Luke MacMillan

Mackenzie Connolly

Structural Engineer and Partner with 10 years of diverse building design experience within the construction industry, Mackenzie Connolly joined the BMR team in 2018. The experience of detailed design and constructability has allowed Mackenzie to implement these lessons into the early stages of each project. Key areas of interest include steel welding design, multi-storey wood structures, commercial properties, and structural restorations.

Mike Forsythe

A Senior Structural Engineer with over 35 years of experience, Mike joined the team at BMR in 2019 and brings a wealth of experience in all types of structural design. This includes structural steel, heavy timber, rehabilitation & repair, tilt-up concrete, foundations, and his particular specialty, reinforced concrete design. Highly skilled in finite element concrete analysis and design, Mike has been the structural engineer on numerous high-profile reinforced concrete buildings such as the Icon Bay and Trillium Towers in Halifax, NS.

Nick Boudreault

Structural Engineer and Partner Nick Boudreault joined BMR Structural Engineering as a graduate from the University of New Brunswick in 2018. Nick has quickly developed into a highly valued member of the team and as a registered professional engineer in the province of Nova Scotia, has completed some of BMR's most challenging and complex projects. These include new schools and college campuses, healthcare facilities, commercial complexes, central utility plants, large-scale renovations, multi-unit residential, and much more.

Peter Richardson

A senior technician with over 25 years of experience (more than two decades of those with BMR) in all kinds of structures, Peter Richardson has detailed more tilt-up panels than anyone in Atlantic Canada. He has the unique ability to juggle multiple projects without losing focus - including schools, university and college buildings as well as hospitals, nursing homes and recreational buildings.

Scott Clarke

A senior technologist who joined BMR's team in 2018, Scott has 22 years of progressive experience in structural engineering and project management including roles as prime & sub-consultant lead, construction project manager, senior design technologist, and QA/QC manager. Scott brings a broad range of commercial, residential, and institutional experience in new developments, renovations & repairs, heritage restoration, tilt-up construction, technical reports & proposals, feasibility studies, quality management, and site condition assessments.

Scott Underhill

Atlantic Canada's most prolific designer of tilt-up panel buildings, Senior Structural Engineer and Partner Scott Underhill has brought an incredible range of experience in his more than 27 years at BMR Structural Engineering. He has designed literally thousands of panels in schools, hospitals, industrial buildings and office buildings.

Tina Traynor

Having fit right in from the beginning, Tina Traynor brings her drawing skills and teamwork to the table every day. She has no trouble switching gears between projects every day while managing multiple jobs. Tina is proving to be a great part of our team.
