Bob Griffis Minerals is owned by Bob and Sarah Griffis. We have been buying and selling mineral and crystal specimens since 1978, with over 47 years of experience. We have been selling minerals on the internet for over 30 years, since 1995. Over the years we have handled and sold several large collections, including consignments from universities and estates... Bob Griffis has been collecting minerals for over 50 years, since he was 8 years old. Bob has both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geology. He started selling minerals in 1978 as a way of helping to pay for his college education. He has been selling minerals part-time and full-time since 1978, at major shows, such as the MSSC and California Federation shows in California, and in Tucson at the TGMS and various hotel shows. Following graduation with his B.Sc. degree, Bob began working as a computer systems analyst, while working on his M.SC degree.
