Amy joined Bowers Insurance in August 2014. She is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Business Administration. Amy has her Life and Health license. She provides business owners with guidance on cost-effective employee benefit options while working with individuals to find the best health policy to meet their needs. Amy's professional experience includes handling small group renewals, health and welfare benefits plans, and nonprofit membership services. Amy and her husband, Michael, live in Hagerstown and have one wonderful daughter and a playful pup. Amy enjoys water fitness, reading and eating her husband's amazing meals.

Heidi joined Bowers Insurance in September 2005. Heidi is responsible for managing corporate finances, Human Resources and office management. She works behind the scenes within the company, wearing many hats, and fulfilling various administrative duties. After living in Utah a few years, she returned to the Hagerstown area and pursued her career in Accounting at Hagerstown Community College. She earned American Management Association (AMA) certificates in Management and Human Resource Management, along with a license in Property and Casualty Insurance. Outside of work, Heidi is a concert enthusiast and has a strong interest in health and fitness. A lot of her spare time is spent doing volunteer work for her church. Heidi is very family oriented and treasures time with family and friends.
Janice began her career with Powell Insurance in February 2009 and stayed with Bowers Insurance in September 2018 after the acquisition. She has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry, which began at an aviation insurance company. She currently holds her Property & Casualty and Life & Heath Licenses and holds a CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation. She lives in Thurmont, MD and loves spending time with friends and family, especially her son Ryan and her goldador, Mosby. An adrenaline junkie, Janice is always looking for her next adventure. She enjoys travel, white water rafting, snuba, (a cross of scuba and snorkeling), skiing and recently checked-off a few bucket list items when she swam with sea turtles and took her first helicopter ride.
Jason has been with Bowers Insurance since June 2012. He attended Frostburg State University where he majored in Accounting and also received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. He has been in the insurance industry since 2004 and has experienced both the personal and commercial lines of Property & Casualty. Jason holds the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation and takes pride in representing the Bowers Insurance brand well. He has lived in Washington County for nine years. He, and his wife Ashley and son Weston, live in Hagerstown. Jason's approach to his work can be summarized in a quote by Lou Holtz: "Do right. Do your best. Treat others as you want to be treated."
Jeff Bowers has been with Bowers Insurance since May of 1989. He is co-owner and oversees the agency's personal insurance operations, as well as selling life, disability and fixed annuity business. Jeff is a graduate of Hagerstown Community College and Shepherd University and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Jeff and his wife Krista have two children, Allyson and Andrew. Outside work Jeff enjoys competitive cycling, Indy car racing, and umpiring youth baseball.

Jen started her insurance career in February of 2003 when she was hired by Powell Insurance Agency and transitioned to Bowers Insurance September 2018. She is the first friendly voice you will hear when calling and the first lovely face you see when visiting the Frederick office. Jen is licensed in Property and Casualty and has over 15 years of customer service and insurance experience. She has also been a licensed cosmetologist for the past 18 years. She grew up in Middletown, MD and now resides in Keedysville, MD with her husband, Nat, son, Bryant, and their two cocker spaniels, Lady and Jack. Jen enjoys spending her free time with family and friends and crafting.
John Bowers, President, has been with Bowers Insurance since April of 1988. He is co-owner and oversees Commercial Insurance operations. John is a graduate of Shippensburg University, with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science and is a Certified WorkComp Advisor (CWCA). He is the proud dad of two daughters, Grace and Caroline. Outside of work, John enjoys being physically active, hunting, and coaching football.

Josh has been with Bowers Insurance since September of 2020. He attended Hagerstown Community College, then Liberty University, where he majored in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. He has been in the insurance industry since 2018. Josh spent 12 years working in the construction industry, which is why he works so well with contractors and provides his clients with Proactive Service that is rare in the Insurance industry. Josh is involved with multiple community organizations and volunteers his time to serve others at any opportunity that he can. Josh remains committed to being a Partner with his clients and working not just to protect them and their assets, but to grow their business and develop efficiencies that make them a more marketable business in their respective trade. Josh and his wife, Susanna, live in Hagerstown along with their four daughters, Elise, Aubrey, Lainey and Oakley. Josh is driven each day to think outside of the box and can often be heard saying "If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got. Be different. Be better."
