Susan Avera Holt is a class of 1988 graduate of Columbia High School. She earned her journalism degree from Baylor University in 1991 and has worked for numerous publications. Currently, she is the news content coordinator for West Brazos Weekly and writes a story each week about historical people, places and events west of the Brazos.
