Leigh Moore, President of Bridge Career Management, Inc., is a Human Resources Consultant, Career Coach & Trainer with more than 15 years' experience in classroom / team facilitation, HR generalist functions, outplacement, change management, performance improvement, career coaching and leadership development. Leigh has a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Professional in Human Resources, PHR, certification, which she earned while working at Laing Properties as an HR Generalist. Leigh is well-versed in assisting her clients in all aspects of career transition. As a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), Leigh has demonstrated her skill in capturing the essential message from a large body of information. She is skilled in assisting clients in telling their career stories, highlighting achievements and accomplishments in formats that are appropriate for Federal, non-profit, and corporate positions. Leigh has designed and co-designed resume formats using color and graphics that have been well-received in the market place. In 2001 Leigh attended Kathryn Troutman's first Federal Resume Writer & Career Coach and Federal Job Search Trainer certification program and since that time she has been assisting clients in both individual and group settings unravel the Federal hiring process-resumes and KSA's. She teaches Ten Steps to a Federal Job at Emory Professional Learning Programs. Leigh was awarded contracts to train the Veterans' Services staff at the Georgia Department of Labor and the Tennessee Veterans' Services Group, receiving near-perfect evaluations from 175 employees participating in Ten Steps to a Federal Job training. Leigh enjoys working with career exploration clients. She is qualified/certified on a number of assessment instruments, including the Myers Briggs Type Indicator / MBTI, FIRO-B, Strong Interest Inventory, Self-Directed Search, and Jackson Vocational Interest Assessment. She co-designed a career exploration program that was sold to a major telecommunications company. Leigh has also served as a co-manager for an onsite career center for a major bank and she has provided coaching and job leads development in multiple career centers. Leigh has designed and delivered leadership development training for various corporations, some of which include a division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a major healthcare provider and a leading drugstore chain, receiving excellent evaluations from participants and training sponsors. She has also provided pre-employment and recruiting services for corporations. Ms. Moore was quoted in an article in The Atlanta Magazine in May, 2004 and she was interviewed by the Atlanta Journal Constitution for articles that appeared in June of 2003, September of 2006, and June of 2007 editions. Leigh started practicing meditation in 1983 and credits meditation with helping her remain calm and centered during the challenges of life. She has taken well over 1000 hours in meditation courses and training and she traveled to India in 1986, 1989, 1998 and 2004 to deepen her meditation practice. She has personally experienced the physical benefits of meditation, also, such as stress reduction and relaxation. Leigh has served as the Master of Ceremonies for over 150 programs that included meditation practice where she provided instruction for participants from a wide variety of cultural, socio-economic and educational backgrounds. While earning her Masters Degree in Social Work, Leigh facilitated a meditation group every week for participants in a residential substance abuse treatment center and received positive feedback from the residents receiving guidance in a 12-Step Recovery Program. Leigh facilitated Evening at Emory's first meditation class in Vinings, a suburb of Atlanta, in the fall of 2007 and received excellent participant evaluations. Leigh's second class in Vinings grew 300% in enrollment.
