Aaron is a licensed architect with more than 25 years experience with a background focused on environments for living and design excellence. He is passionate about great design that solves challenges and the process and people that are part of that journey. Aaron's experience focuses on environments for living, including market rate housing, senior living and care environments, and student housing. Aaron's passion for design exists at all levels of a project, and his team-focused mentality brings consensus to the design direction and project goals.
Adam discovered his passion for woodworking and building at a young age under the guidance of his grandfather. This early exposure fueled his interest in the architectural field, where he honed his skills as a draftsman and residential designer. After two decades in the industry, Adam transitioned to the healthcare sector before rekindling his true love for single family home design at BSB Design. His career journey has come full circle, and he thrives in an environment where work feels like a fulfilling and enjoyable pursuit. As a Senior Job Captain in the Charlotte office, Adam utilizes his 23 years of experience to deliver high-quality designs on single family projects.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Alex serves as a Draftsperson in the Los Angeles office of BSB Design. He lends his 13 years of experience to every project team his is a part of. Alex's focus on multifamily projects has provided him with an awareness of creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans based on architectural designs. He assists the project team in translating concepts into practical drawings, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and collaborating to ensure smooth project execution.

A certified interior designer with over 20 years of experience, Alicia Perez brings a creative sensibility and eye for detail to commercial, industrial, office, tenant improvement, and retail projects. Her positive and open communication style has fostered a continual increase in interdisciplinary design approaches to challenging efforts, delivering balanced project solutions that draw from the best of the firm's architecture and planning, interiors, wayfinding and even advanced visualization techniques. Her role on projects of all sizes and complexities includes staff and team management, integration with other design disciplines, budget and schedule adherence and construction observation.
A graduate of University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Allayna has three years of experience in architecture. After exploring positions at a few firms, she joined BSB Design to pursue a career in residential architecture. As a Senior Intern Architect, Allayna enjoys drawing unit plans, designing 3D elevations, and making material selections.
As she pursued her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree at Iowa State University, Alysse was an intern with the Iowa State Community Visioning outreach program. This gave her the opportunity to travel to small Iowa towns to guide focus groups for potential transportation infrastructure improvements in those communities. Prior to joining BSB Design, Alysse focused on green technologies work on high profile projects across the country. Her strong interest in community design and livability is what led her to join the Kansas City office as a Landscape Architect.
Amy is a talented Staff Architect at BSB Design with a strong background in coordinating and resolving conflicts in building systems. She graduated from Auburn University College of Architecture and has been pursuing her career in Charlotte since 2010. Throughout her career, Amy has worked on a variety of projects including multifamily, mixed use, and commercial properties, and has extensive experience with NCHFA and HUD financed projects. She is known for her attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with other professionals in the industry. Amy's commitment to her clients' needs and goals is a top priority, and she takes great pride in ensuring that every project she works on meets their specific requirements.
Amy's passion for architecture was sparked while growing up in Charlotte, NC, and it continued to grow during her drafting classes in high school. She began her architecture career at BSB Design after completing her Master of Architecture at UNC Charlotte in May 2019. She brought her strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills to her career and has a particular interest in housing-related design. Amy is currently working towards obtaining her architecture license and is actively involved in running a nationwide study group for other individuals in the firm that are working towards licensure.
Ana's first experiences in design included pulling samples, attending client meetings, assisting in kitchen design layout, and building custom cabinets at design showrooms. She joined BSB Design in 2021 as a Draftsperson and is part of the production team working on multifamily projects. Ana is proficient in producing accurate and detailed construction documents and contributes to smooth project execution and the delivery of high-quality designs.
Andi started her 15-year career in custom residential design and then branched out to gain commercial, educational, medical, and military, and engineering project experience. She returned to her passion design residential architecture and joined BSB Design in 2017. As a Senior Intern Architect, Andi is involved in design development, construction documentation, and project coordination.
Anibal has more than 25 years of experience in the architecture industry. As a Draftsperson in the Los Angeles office, he plays a vital role in translating designs into technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating effective communication between the project team. His attention to detail, proficiency in CAD software, and understanding of building codes contribute to the successful realization of single family, multifamily and commercial projects.
Anthony has over 15 years of experience in the architecture and construction industry. He has been licensed for more than 10 years with project work spanning multiple states, including the southeast. His background includes project work in single family housing, townhomes, multifamily development, commercial retail, entertainment, hospitality and office. Anthony's portfolio includes experience in a wide range of product types and sizes, from small renovations and interior upfits to large-scale, multi-block residential and mixed use developments.

Atreyu began mechanical drafting in high school and later became a service technician. After eight years in that field, he switched career paths and began his career as a Draftsperson with BSB Design. With a focus on precision and attention to detail, Atreyu excels in creating precise and comprehensive construction documents. His expertise ensures seamless project execution and the delivery of exceptional residential designs.
Barbara first discovered architecture at age 8 while "helping" her parents select a house plan from a plan book. At the same time, she discovered the harsh reality that architects must face: People don't always follow your carefully considered design. She was highly offended when the completed house didn't have the all-glass living room wall that was pictured in the book. After over 20 years with BSB Design she has learned that siting sometimes requires design sacrifices.
Barbara's early introduction to architecture and design - in addition to learning to read blueprints with her carpenter husband - serves her well at BSB Design as she catalogs and acts as "head librarian" and researcher for plans and project imagery. She also maintains client information, assists with creation of marketing materials using her uncanny ability at playing "what's wrong with this picture" to proofread and edit. Her historical knowledge of the firm and the body of work make her a go-to for background and research.
Beau Kellam joined BSB Design's Denver office in 2016. In his current role as Project Architect, Beau oversees project work for the firm's residential builder and developer clients throughout the region. This includes managing the day-to-day interaction among project team members, client representatives, consultants, municipalities and other jurisdictional entities as they work together to successfully complete a wide range of project types and uses. Along with Beau's dedication to excellent client service and communication, he is a highly proficient technician with a passion for developing and refining his design expertise.

Bill has more than 40 years of experience in community master planning, detail landscape design and project management of major planned residential communities, resort communities, urban design and golf community design throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific Basin. In his position as Senior Community Designer at BSB Design, Bill oversees the community design and landscape design studio, as well as client management and daily project team coordination. He also acts as team leader for community master planning and coordinates detailed landscape design integration with architects, engineers and planners.
