Ashlee Taylor joined Bigham Taylor in 2013 as the company's Office Manager. In that role, she learned the ins and outs of the business - managing payroll, insurance certifications, and overseeing the general health of the office. Today, Ashlee manages BT's project management database and all client communications including contracts and weekly project updates and close-out documents.

Bryce brings intense focus on customer service and extensive knowledge in roofing systems to his work at BT. He started in commercial roofing in 1998, working as an estimator and project manager for clients in the aerospace, industrial, retail, and multi-unit residential industries. Bryce joined BT in 2014 and has built a solid reputation for communication, diligence, and integrity.
Darby manages Bigham Taylor's internal accounting, finance, and human resources functions as the company's Controller. She's a key BT management team member, providing budgeting, forecasting, and staffing perspective. Darby joined BT in 2004, quickly becoming an integral part of the company's team as she added efficiencies to the accounting and information departments.

Don Taylor's first exposure to the roofing industry came as an apprentice roofer during the East Bay's residential boom in the late 1960s. The frantic pace, plus his exposure to production management, gave him the experience necessary to succeed in business when he met and partnered with Steve Bigham in 1977. Don's wide array of experiences has made him one of the most sought after technical experts in the industry and he's helped design and install systems on the most challenging projects. "One of the greatest things about this job for me is the ability to be out in the field helping projects come together successfully," Don says. "I love seeing what works and where I can help."
Ed joined Bigham Taylor in 2022 after 14 years with a family-run roofing company based in the South Bay. He's well-versed in specialized coatings and single-ply roofing systems that are applied to a multitude of roofs, including flat, tile, and steep slope. Ed works with property managers and building owners on projects across the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
When Jesse joined Bigham Taylor he brought a wide range of experiences, including jobs where he learned the intricacies of estimating, resource management, and operational logistics. All of those skills have helped him during his time at BT, where he dedicates his time to helping owners, external project managers, and consultants through restoration and re-reoofing projects.
Junior, as he's known at Bigham Taylor because he followed his father into the company, started as an apprentice roofer in 1996. From then until now, Jose has shown a dedication to detail that serves BT's clients and lives up to the company's promise. Jose leads crews on Bigham Taylor's largest and most intricate projects across Northern California and Northern Nevada

Long before Juan Espinoza Jr. came into the office to work as BT's Assistant Project Manager, he was on a roof as a seasonal employee while on summer breaks from college. Those experiences taught him the ins and outs of roofing challenges and solutions, which are helpful in his work in BT's Service Department.
Louie first stepped foot at Bigham Taylor in 1986. He started as a laborer, proudly saying, "I started at the bottom and moved up." Today, Louie helps run BT's Safety Program and travels to the company's projects to ensure every roof adheres to the company's stringent safety policies. "It's a good place to work with friendly people who treat me like family," he says. "They've given me the opportunity to go up and up."
Mario works hand-in-hand with Bigham Taylor's Operations department, helping to set up jobs, staging, personnel coordination, and materials purchasing. He's also an integral part of BT's Service department, coordinating and dispatching crews on maintenance and leak repair jobs. Mario is an Asbestos Supervisor and an OSHA 40-hour Supervisor, making him a vital part of the team.
Marty's roofing experience dates back to 1985. His depth of experience and knowledge of roofing systems serve our customers as he works to ensure our crews deliver what we've promised on schedule and within budget with exemplary workmanship. Marty works out of BT's Manteca office.
Naum is your man if you're looking for someone with decades of commercial and industrial roofing experience. Before joining Bigham Taylor in 2017, Naum spent 25 years with another commercial roofer in the area. Today, Naum manages some of BT's biggest projects across northern California. He enjoys spending time with his family when not in the office or on a roof.
Osiris is a well-seasoned roofing professional, starting his career as a roofer, working his way up to a foreman position, and becoming an estimator/project manager in 2022. Throughout his career, Osiris has worked across the Central Valley and Northern California and led projects as varied as regional hospitals and business parks.
Paul Hemseth runs some of Bigham Taylor's largest and most intricate projects. His 20-plus-year career in the roofing industry contributes to smooth-running jobs that include extensive client and subcontractor communication, technical challenges, and detailed estimating. Paul joined BT in 2016 after eight years with a local roofing supplier, where he worked directly with BT on several jobs.
Rachel joined Bigham Taylor in 2008 and began learning the business as the company's office manager. While building relationships with clients and BT's Production and Service departments, Rachel developed the skills to serve as a project manager and excelled. Today, Rachel schedules the service and emergency repair work, carefully matching client needs with crew availability. How good is she at this job? From the end of December 2022 to April 2023, Rachel scheduled more than 3,000 leak calls. Three-thousand!
Roberta is often the first voice you'll hear when calling BT's Manteca office. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the staff, customer relations, and working on the company's accounts payable and receivables. Roberta is often the person who will know where to find the answers to some of the most challenging questions.
Rod has walked on just about every type of roof imaginable, giving him a depth of experience and expertise that's unparalleled in our industry. He partners with clients to communicate the status of every project and works with BT crews to ensure safe and productive job sites. Ever since he joined BT in 1998, Rod has worked on jobs across Northern California and Nevada.

Sean found his way into the roofing industry in 2013 after graduating from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. His first stop came at Summit Roofing Services, the company his father founded, learning the ins and outs of the industry. Sean's early focus was implementing processes and software systems to improve efficiencies. At Bigham Taylor, Sean will concentrate on marketing and communications efforts as the Director of Communications. Sean continues to serve on the WSRCA Young Roofing Professionals Committee.
Steve Bigham began his career in roofing in 1972 as an apprentice roofer, working on residences around the East Bay. Five years later, Steve met and partnered with Don Taylor to form Bigham Taylor Roofing. Nearly 50 years later, the company has grown into one of the most respected commercial and industrial shops in Northern California. "One of the things I'm proudest of is our long term client relationships," he says. "We've made it a practice to listen and do what needs to be done, every single time. We're honest and we make it a practice to only provide the solutions they need, not the ones we want to sell. I think it's flattering when we get called back to do another project."

It's fair to say that Steve has spent just about his entire life in the roofing industry, starting in his family's business in Chicago, continuing during his college days, and with manufacturers and distributors early in his career. In 1989 he joined BT, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience, helping the company expand. He continues to lead BT's sales and project management teams.
Steve works closely with project managers, consultants, owners, and suppliers to ensure that BT lives up to its promise of superior quality and service, while running the company's day-to-day operations. Steve came to BT in 1992, responsible for transforming the company's internal operations. He's continued to take on more roles and became a partner in 2000.

Steve joined BT in 1989 as an apprentice roofer, learning the business from all angles to become one of the company's technical roofing experts and project managers. He's worked on BT's largest and most challenging projects over the years, becoming a trusted partner to owners, consultants, and external project managers. In 2000, Steve became a partner.

Tom started in the roofing industry in the early 1990s, gaining experience in all sorts of roofs and roofing systems over the years. He's an expert in roof safety, overseeing crews, and communicating with our customers to ensure we're all on the same page and working towards the best possible solution.

Travis is the BT point person when it comes to answering service calls, helping with tenant improvement projects, and managing intricate reroofing projects. His introduction to the business came in 1986 when he joined BT as an apprentice roofer. Travis' experience gives him a great perspective on client needs and requests, especially when it comes to maintenance work, leak repairs and reroofing.
