Building in Thailand can be a very rewarding experience or it can be a nightmare if you are unlucky or do not do your checking correctly. Be careful and plan well. Building your own home can be so fulfilling and allow you have a house as good as any in Europe or USA. And for a lot less money ! But you must take care, do your due diligence and make sure you use registered professional builders and listen to people with experience.
