Gail Francis

Gail has a depth of knowledge and experience in the computer industry, with over 20 years, assisting businesses across NZ and Australia to get best value IT procurement. In this ever changing IT landscape. Gail continues to seek out the best technology choices for our clients. As the regional manager for the Bay of Plenty, Gail is passionate to ensure we always deliver the highest standard in IT services in this region.

John Ha

Job Titles:
  • Support Manager
John has been in the IT industry since 1999. He joined us in 2007 as a Technical engineer and is now responsible for the support engineering team and staff training. John's background is in virtualisation, server-based computing and enterprise networking. He works with a range of different sized clients, creating and delivering solutions to meet business requirements. He utilises the latest technology to create scalable solutions future-proofing the customer, all within their budget. He works with clients with multiple locations over complex, distributed networks, including trans-Tasman. John is certified in a number of vendors. VMware, Juniper, HP, Dell, Microsoft, Novell, amongst many others.

Louise Cohalan

Job Titles:
  • Financial Operations Manager
Louise joined BTG in 2012 and was appointed Financial Operations Manager in 2014. She has worked extensively in financial & administrative roles incorporating management in human resources, marketing and accounting functions. Louise has found a perfect fit with BTG, a privately owned company that has the ability to make changes and respond quickly both internally and externally, all the while striving to deliver excellence to our customers. Louise considers the financial operations team as an integral part of service delivery and is proud of the skill set offered by her staff. Mark Emirali

Job Titles:
  • General Manager - Operations
Mark kick-started his IT career back in 1994 within the hustle and bustle of the London financial markets sector. Upon his return to NZ in 1998 he worked in IT Management roles with exposure to FMCG brands like Gillette (including Braun, Duracell, Oral B) Ferrero, Kodak and a large service delivery company being ISS Facility Services. These experiences and numerous IT Courses set the foundation of his skills in ERP systems, systems integration, IT infrastructure, business intelligence, systems administration, staff management, and of course clean shaves! Mark joined BTG in early 2015 to manage the talented Network and Senior Engineering teams - he is very people and client focused and he understands the importance of truly relating to people at all levels of the business whether customers or internal staff. When he's not knee deep in his work Marks enjoys his time with his family, surfing Auckland's wild west coast or photographing life.

Neil Dwight

Job Titles:

Neil jointly founded BTG with Steve Harris in 2001 after they worked together in a NZ dotcom project. Neil oversees all operational team elements within BTG. Neil's background prior was a range of construction related projects. This background has allowed Neil to leverage that sectors operational and project maturity into the, by comparison, completely unregulated world of IT.

Nick Saunders

Job Titles:
  • Regional Manager - Christchurch
Nick joined the IT Industry in 1995. After several overseas adventures which included roles as Consulting Technical Architects for the UK Police and companies like Heathrow Airport Holdings (formerly BAA) and GlaxoSmithKline, he settled back in New Zealand in 2008, joined BTG as the Regional Manager for Christchurch. As Regional Manager, he oversees the regional office and the Engineering Team there, but also directly leads our Security Team, Managed Services Team and our helpdesk. He also looks after several of our larger national key clients from both a technical and account management perspective. Nick tries to keep fit and healthy by running around after his 2 (high-energy) sons and a husky, but also enjoys spending time in the workshop where he creates things from wood… Although, it has been said, he makes more "for" the workshop, than "in" the workshop.

Stefan Martin

Job Titles:
  • Service Delivery Manager
Stefan started in the IT industry in 2002 and joined BTG in 2014 with a goal to help deliver service that delights BTG's customers. He is engaged with all technical teams acting as client advocate and championing continual service improvement.

Steve Harris

Job Titles:
  • Director
Steve is passionate about "developing innovative solutions for business requirements"! He believes strongly in providing solid leadership and developing first-class engineering teams. Steve founded BTG back in 2001 whilst working as a Senior Project Consultant for the same IT start up as Neil Dwight. Prior to that during the mid 90's in sunny England, Steve's professional IT career included roles with TNT Magazine and Reuters (UK) Ltd, and subsequently a IT Systems Engineering role at Perot Systems (now Dell). Steve has extensive experience in Citrix and MS terminal Services projects ranging from SMB to enterprise size deployments. Steve Harris is a qualified CCEA, CCA, NCSA, JN-CIA, VCP

Ted Ebbing

Job Titles:
  • Business Development Manager - Bay of Plenty
Based in the sunny Bay of Plenty, Ted is actively helping many local businesses achieve their goals and grow their business through BTG's digital technology solutions. Over his 20 years in the industry he has successfully planned and delivered technology projects to a huge number of businesses across the wider Bay of Plenty and throughout New Zealand.

Tim Figgins

Job Titles:
  • Director
Tim has worked with the BTG team leading the technology direction since 2014. He is experienced in all aspects of strategic IT planning, implementation, and internal support as an integral component of business plans. With specialised knowledge of Networks, Firewalls and Windows Server technologies he has engineered numerous large projects transforming IT into a strategic business partner for many BTG clients. Tim is all about solutions, being client focused and leading strong teams to deliver effective business strategies. Tim works with his colleagues to establish the company's technical vision and leads all aspects of the company's technological development.

Tim Roest

Job Titles:
  • Sales and Marketing Manager
Tim started at BTG in the role of Key Account Manager working with our clients to ensure secure, reliable, technology for their business. In early 2023 he took up the role of Sales and Marketing Manager, becoming part of the senior manager team, leading the sales team, and helping to grow the business.

Wayne Innes

Job Titles:
  • Linux Team Leader
Based in our Auckland office, Wayne joined the BTG Team in early 2023 as our national Linux Team Leader. As the Linux team leader Wayne plays a pivotal role in guiding the group's efforts, overseeing project milestones, and ensuring the team's collective expertise is effectively harnessed to grow the business and support our clients needs.
