Busbee's Trucks & Parts started in August 1987 as a shop for paint and body work. The owner, Doug, expanded to rebuilding and selling salvage vehicles, using a 1988 Mitsubishi FUSO for transport. In 1999, after a friend's salvage yard closed, Doug opened his own salvage yard, hiring a trusted colleague. A friend suggested a website in 2004, which helped grow the business globally. Facing difficulties in sourcing parts for his transport vehicle, Doug shifted focus to parts for foreign medium..
