BURRY SIGNS

Today - I am said to say - our father is no longer with us. He passed on March 8th, 2018. Our mother is now retired living in the country with Craig - her son. Burry Signs lives on through 3 children - Carmen, Craig and Dean. The brushes and calligraphy pens have been replaced by computers, printers and plotters. Burry Signs is more then a business it is a family dedicated to uphold the strong reputation of Burry Signs. A reputation each family member built with their own hands one sign at a time... Our Father purchased the business from Mr. Burry. The two men were connected through their skill - hand lettering. Our Father was employed by Simpson in downtown Toronto while Mr. Burry worked as a self employed man close by taking on extra work our father could not handle. When Mr. Burry was ready to retire he approached our father with an offer to purchase his business. After many sleepless nights and conversations I still remember as a small girl our father chose to buy Burry Signs...
