Busch Insurance agency was founded in 1981 as "Baker Insurance Agency, Inc." by Lee Baker. After leaving a 20 year career with Rural Mutual, he and his wife owned and operated Baker Insurance Agency, Inc. at 55 E Main St. in Platteville, Wisconsin. In 1993, Lee asked his client Terry Busch, a promising college student, if he wanted to join him in the insurance business. After much deliberation, Terry decided to give insurance a try.
