Amber Davids - President

Amber Brooks Davids leads the firm's third-party personal injury litigation division of the Daytona Beach office. She specializes in insurance defense litigation, defending governmental entities, and general civil defense litigation in both state and federal court. Prior to joining the firm, she was the Senior Associate at two insurance defense litigation firms in Daytona Beach. Amber is a licensed Florida Bar member and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida; United States District Court, Southern District of Florida; and The United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Amber currently serves as the President elect of the Board of the Volusia County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the Dunn-Blount American Inn of Court and the Volusia Flagler Association for Woman Lawyers. She enjoys serving as the chair of numerous yearly community service projects that benefit foster children and other members of our community.

Bill Seitz

Bill Seitz is an attorney in the firm's Daytona Beach office. Mr Seitz attended Stetson University for undergraduate studies, where he was a three-year letterman on the division one varsity basketball team. Following his graduation from Stetson, Mr Seitz attended Samford University Cumberland School of Law, graduating in 1979. Mr Seitz has been practicing law in Daytona Beach since 1979. Mr. Seitz is the father of four children and has four grandchildren. Over the years he has coached in youth sports and is involved at First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida.

Chris Coleman

Chris Coleman is the firm's partner based in the Ocala office. He concentrates in the defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims with a special emphasis on medical and pharmacy malpractice. A graduate of Mercer University and its Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia (B.S. in Biology, 1973, J.D. 1987), he also has a degree from the Southern School of Pharmacy in Atlanta (B.S. in Pharmacy, 1976).

Douglas J. LaPointe

Douglas J. LaPointe is a graduate of Florida State University (B.S. Psychology, 1990) and the Cumberland School of Law (J.D. 1993). He is a member of the Florida Bar, the U.S. Northern, Middle, and Southern District Courts of Florida and the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Trial Attorneys of America and the Defense Research Institute.

Peyton Hodges

Peyton Hodges is a graduate of the University of Georgia (B.A. History, 1975) and the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Georgia (J.D. 1978). He is a certified "AV" rated partner based primarily in the Orlando office and practices exclusively in the defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims. Peyton is a Certified Circuit Court Mediator. His professional associations include the American, Georgia, Florida and Orange County Bar Associations, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, and the International Association of Defense Counsel. He is licensed in both Florida and Georgia. He is a certified instructor by the Florida Department of Insurance.

Robert W. Mixson

Robert W. Mixson has been a civil trial lawyer for 40+ years. His practice involves representation of individuals and businesses in personal injury and wrongful death, insurance coverage, product liability, construction defect, defamation, alternative dispute resolution, and general liability matters.
