C and D Landscape is a fully licensed General Contractor that offers a "one-stop-shop" with our design and installation for all outdoor living needs... C and D Landscape Company was established in 1977 by lifetime area residents Calvin and Deborah Kearns. Cal left a teaching job in order to pursue a career in landscaping. He started out working by himself, with one truck and a trailer. With the onslaught of the recession in the early 1980's they found themselves falling on hard times. In 1984 Cal had to sell all of his equipment and even considered getting back into teaching. But landscaping was his calling and he felt that is what he needed to continue to do. He had determination that this would be his profession, and he wanted to strive to be the best landscaper around doing the highest quality work. The following year, 1985, he landed two large jobs, a local city park and a new K-Mart shopping center, that helped get the company back on track. That year C and D grossed more than it..
