Canoeing South Africa is governed and administered by a Board which is made up of the five Provincial Union chairmen as well as four voted-in Directors, including the President. The Secretary General is employed to handle the day-to-day operation of the Federation... SUP is short for Stand Up and Paddleboarding. The sport has seen a radical transformation over the years in terms of equipment and techniques and has become a fast developing sport in South Africa and all the world. Competitors partake in a range of Stand up and paddleboarding disciplines including SUP Surfing, SUP Racing, which includes technical, long distance and sprint racing. South Africa has a strong team competing across these disciplines locally and internationally.
