Coast Auto Supply was founded by Manuel Nepom in 1935 as one of the first retail auto supply stores on the west coast. Brothers Sam, Ben and Isadore Russell joined the company soon after World War II and added wholesale to the existing retail store in the mid-1950s. The retail store, which was a fixture in downtown Portland, was closed in 1980 to focus on wholesale trade. Barry Russell, our current President and CEO (and Manuel's great-nephew), is the third generation leading this family-owned warehouse distributor...
